Cannon limped through the Dojo, blood trickling down from several rips in his bodysuite.
His armor was burnt and scratched, most of the paint simply gone and his helmet sported several new dents and a cracked visor.
He dragged the unconscious form of a man in a dark blue bodysuite through the dust behinds him, leaving a trail of blood as he walked towards the center of a courtyard.
Once in the center, he rolled the man over to reveal it was a clone trooper's face.

She had no injuries of any kind, just dried blood and unconsciousness. "She'll be fine."
-
"Thank you..." He whispered quietly, tentatively reaching a hand down and resting it on Iso's shoulder.
-
"I didn't do it for you. I did it for the woman I love." Bedlam sat dowm and sighed.
-
Cannon closed his eyes and stepped back, hoping Bedlam didn't mean Iso, but doubting he'd be so lucky. He sat down, leaning against a small tree nearby as he waited for her to wake up.
-
The night fell silent for a few minutes before he broke the silence. "Why did she never love me back?"
-
Cannon gazed at the ground, not knowing how to answer him at first. He finally decided in his slow brain that Bedlam must be talking about Iso, and decided a comment. "Maybe for the same reason she left me?" He barely whispered it, attempting to distract himself by fiddling with his gauntlets.
-
"No. She loves you. She never loved me the way I love her." A tear ran down his cheek. "After all I've done for her....She never gave me a chance. You know, I'm the reason she escaped WM? I sacrificed a part of me to break her out. She doesn't know that though. No one does....Well, now you do, I guess."
-
"Oh..." He leaned his head back against the tree. "I..." He almost apologized, but the small part of him that was still clinging to Iso wouldn't let him. She fell for him, not Bedlam. He wouldn't apologize for that.
-
"At least when I was in her head I was constantly with her and got to see her and talk to her...."
-
"You didn't have to get broken by her leaving like I did either. That has to count for something, right?" Having Iso leave after marrying him had hurt far, FAR worse than their first break up ever could. Giving his heart and having it torn out like that was a special hell.
-
"It's better to have loved...than to have never loved at all...." He looked over at Cannon with a smile. "They also say the one's that smile and laugh the most are the one's dying on the inside." Bedlam winked before vanishing. Iso stirred, waking up.
-
For a split second, that quote made the Mando think of his 'little' brother, Nomad. Then he saw Iso stir and all other thoughts were forcibly removed from his mind as he quickly kneeled beside her. "Iso?"
-
"Did I hear Bedlam? Oh, Cannon. Where's Traci?" Iso sat up, a confused look on her face.
-
"Are you alright?" He asked, ignoring her question at first to ensure she wasn't hiding an injury.
-
"A few systems are down and a couple are at critical levels of damage. Now, where's my daughter?" She looked around frantically.
-
"Bedlam said nothing's going to happen to her, now calm down for a second. You almost got yourself killed." He told her, trying to keep her from rampaging.
-
Iso tried to get up, but she just fell back in frustration. "F*cking....Ugh! Bedlam totally made it so I couldn't follow him, didn't he?! He's an *ss....Disabling my legs for an hour...." She mumbled the last part.
-
Cannon couldn't help a ghost of a small smile across his face, he was just that glad she was alright, but it died as fast as it appeared. "Why didn't you tell me when you found out Traci was kidnapped?"
-
"I needed to save my kid! There was no time to waste and all you've ever done is f*cked our daughter up with your damn adventures!" Iso spat out, clearly upset.
-
Anger flashed through his eyes as he prepared a response. And then he realised, and his shoulders slumped. "You're right. I'm sorry."
-
"It's whatever, just...I'm not leaving her in your care ever again if I can help it." Iso sighed and looked around a bit more.
-
Cannon grit his teeth and sat down, wincing. Only she could have possibly made him feel this much worse. "Why do I even give an osik." He mumbled to himself, quietly enough that even Iso's super hearing barely heard him say it.
-
"I dunno, why do you endanger Traci? Do you get some sort of sick thrill from it?" She refused to feel bad.
-
That made him snap. He moved so he was eye level with her, glaring daggers at her face. "Don't you kriffing dare say that. You know full well I love Traci more than anything. She's all I have left. If you think I'm going to just take your petty insults you can go shove it up your shebs, aruetiic dar kar'ta shabuir." He spat, an intense anger in his words and eyes. "If you cared for her she wouldn't be gone! Would she?! It's your fault she was alone and got captured, not mine!" Iso spat right back at him, rage clear in her eyes.
