To the right was a spiral staircase that had circled the wall, leading up to the second floor. Then a barely audible chittering was heard...as if it was some sort of insectoid below Gideon. Gods only know what the wizard kept in the cellar. The old fossil of the wizard descended the staircase and into the den, wearing the stereotypical getup.
