Spiderman unlimited is really good. The game always has competitions going on to get the premium currency and really good rewards. You can play the game totally free and it's really not much of a chore to get ahead either.

If you like Yu-Gi-Oh then Duel Links is a great game. It's a shortened down version of the original card game. Plus there's no pay to win bs or anything like that. You can buy cards but the prices make no sense compared to how easy it is to get cards by just playing the game.

Side load the inds emulator using a pc, and you can play Pokémon on your iPhone for free. Or any nds game, for that matter.

I think there are some Final Fantasy games ported to iOS. The Infinity Blade trilogy is also very good. Aralon Sword and Shadow is an older game, but about as close as you're going to get to a good open world RPG.

Infinity Blade is definitely a good choice. Google to see if GBA4IoS is still a thing. It's a download from browser that is basically an emulator for Game Boy Advance.
