"You know full well that won't happen.
I gave that everything I had with you, Iso, I just..."
He used the blood on his face as an excuse to wipe away tears without her being able to notice.
He felt ashamed... And oddly hurt that she'd tell him to find someone else.

"There are millions of other girls out there that would love to be with you, Cannon." Iso giggled. "Despite my sister's racism I believe she was still jealous of me having you."
-
He almost smiled. "None of those girls would be you, Iso. You're the one I gave my heart to, that's not something I can... Or even want to... Take back."
-
"You're way too in love with me, you know that?" She shook her head with a small grin. "If I die I feel bad for the people you'll hunt for revenge."
-
"Guess everyone has their issues." He smiled slightly, then sighed. "You never told me why you left, you know."
-
"If you don't know then you haven't learned anything and...I was kinda hoping you would." She sighed as well.
-
"I just want to hear it from you." He replied.
-
"If I have to say it then we're through with no way of ever going back." She turned to leave. "I love you, but all of my friends think this is a horrible relationship, you know that?"
-
"I love you too... But you already knew that." He whispered the last part, smiling slightly. He suddenly felt something he hadn't felt in a long time. Hope. And then he felt something else, blood loss. He swayed slightly, leaning on the damaged tree... Which snapped. The poor Mandalorian found himself on his back, coughing uncontrollably.
-
"Cannon, you should've just let Bedlam heal you." Iso kneeled down. "You'll live though."
-
Blood started to pour out of his throat at an alarming rate, making him choke and sputter. "U-ung..."
-
"The Dojo emergency responders will probably be here soon. Nothing to worry about." She smiled reassuringly at him.
-
He had turned pale now, clutching his damaged throat. "S-sorry... For yelling at you... Earlier." He sputtered. He doubted he'd die here, but he still didn't want that to be their last memory if by chance he did. "Didn't... Mean it.."
-
"Yeah, it's whatever." Sirens could be heard nearby. "I yelled too."
-
"I deserved it..." The bleeding was slowing down, which wasn't a good sign. It wasn't clotting either.
-
Emergency response people rushed to the scene and instantly began to help Cannon with the most advanced technology the Dojo could provide. "I'll see you later."
-
He smiled slightly. "Yeah... See you tomorrow when we rescue Traci."
-
Iso vanished and Cannon got treatment.
End.
No development at all whatsoever plus I don't want the direction this started leaning for my idea. I was going to have him lose his ability to talk, bit I changed my mind, so why keep it? It's like a chapter that didn't make it into the book.

Okay. Thought him meeting Bedlam was nice, but I'll agree to a retcon here
-
True... Dang it. We should make a seperate post of him meeting Bedlam.
