Do you know the reason why they ask those questions? Why they are so insistent and annoying with it? It comes down the the YouTube algorithm.
This algorithm, to put it simply, ranks videos on a certain set of criteria and ranks them. Higher ranked videos, and their respective channel, have a higher likelihood to be "recommended" to viewers. New viewers means more viewers, and more viewers is more ad revenue.
Now, back to the important part here: the criteria. YouTube, in its current state, values likes and comments highly in its algorithm. The single best way to boost your "rank" is to increase the likes and comments of the videos you put out. Which is why people ask to the point of being annoying.
As for the videos themselves, since it's just news everyone knows, the "content" comes off as an annoying money grab. Which it totally is.

Woah Woah Woah, don't talk actual facts he's too busy being ignorant to even consider what they have to deal with lol

Woah woah woah, what's ignorant about calling these people out? If you don't have 10 minutes + of content don't dribble shit and beg for likes. You're right he doesn't know what it's like to fill 9 minutes with different way's of asking to subscribe and SMASH THAT MFING LIKE BUTTON.
