No man, they can't do that...
[spoiler]...if they do it before the game starts then no one will realize it happened. Instead they'll wait for everyone to enjoy fusion power in the beta, so the day 1 patch for the final game can have the fusion rifle nerf we all love and deserve. ;)[/spoiler]
