Why does grimoire and time played matter? "If someone who has played a lot of the first game doesn't like it, then it must suck." How does that make sense at all?

They have more experience than just the past year of this game. Someone who played since day one knows that a ton of changes have been made over the years, and someone who like it for what it was when it started may have a different opinion than someone who likes it for what it is now.
