So I've read all the reviews and opinions on the D2 Beta so far; I've spotted an interesting trend in the opinions from the ones that are saying it's great and are loving it.
All of these Bungie defenders have sub 5000 Grimoire, No "From the beginning" node unlocked on Y3 MoT and have 1000 Hours or less gameplay time.
You will say Grimoire doesn't mean shit, but it's an uncanny trend that I've spotted.
Any D1 Alpha/Beta Vets with 5500+ Grimoire and 3000 Hours logged have anything good to say about this D2 Beta?
I'm curious...

Edited by Lord Imperius: 7/19/2017 11:27:13 AMBeen here since the Beta and because I upgraded to PS4 from PS3, I was unable to claim the "From the Beginning" node in my MoT booklet. I have some Year 1 MoT stuff done (Was before I signed up here), yet I also didn't get progress in my book for that either. I also have grimoire cards that were only obtainable in the HoW era, so there's that too. It's a very popular glitch in my observations. The main problem with the D2 Beta is this: From what we've seen and played, Bungie has made Destiny 2 a PVP-orientated game, with PVE elements just tossed in. Destiny 1 was, and always will be, a PVE-orientated game with PVP elements added in. My conclusion is brought up on how weapons handle, as well as our Supers and recharge rates for abilities. It's so horrendously slow that you'll only get your super at the boss fight in the current strike. Grenades take forever to recharge, melee burn damage is extremely slow to recharge, the movement system is catered to PVP (Play Destiny 1, then play the beta, you'll notice very large changes on how your character handles). For players like me, who only played the Crucible for some quick fun while waiting for team mates for patrols/strike/raids, this is very disheartening. PVP in Destiny has once again ruined the PVE side.
