We started Destiny 1 with the original khostov and in our weak armour with no abilities or subclasses unlocked. Had to level up and earn ur shit! Yes as we all know bungie screwed up with their balancing patches trying to appease the nerf herders but it looks like they are trying to fix that issue with fixed weapon perks and subclass trees so they dont destroy entire classses or weapon archetypes again. Sure stuff will need to be tweaked again as the game progresses if deemed O.P but it looks like bungie has set it up right to make the adjustments without ruining what the players have worked for.
