That's part of the problem. The game isn't looking at its hybrid like style anymore. Destiny 2 should bring more rpg elements since the game is an FPSRPG, MMO part can be forgotten since it only borrows qualities. Now I'm not saying the base game is a solid reflection of what's lacking in the Beta. But I would say if the game was goin to add more of these elements we would've known by now. They have already portrayed and shown Destiny 2 to be the fix of Destiny 1. That's why it feels more like an expansion and not a sequel. Your sequel shouldn't be to outright correct it's predecessor, unless it was a failure (almost all Ubisoft games).
