Destiny 2 feedback discussion

So I think we need to talk first about the balance of pvp/pve for weapons starting with side arms. From my experience side arms actually feel nice in pve, the damage feels dependable and the recoil is fair. the range on sidearms felt good, but thats up for debate as i feel i need to use them more. BUT in pvp side arms are atrocious. They feel awful. bad damage bad range. but needless to say a step in the right direction from Destiny 1. i think they could use a massive range increase but take a bigger damage falloff in return so shots can properly land but not without penalty when outside its intended range so they can be a quick finisher. and ontop of that faster swaps by default to side arms for that reason. again ill test them more and come back to them in pvp and pvp. Pulse rifles now. in pvp there is no doubt in my mind the archetype for 385 Rpm is the dominant weapon in the beta, however i dont think its overpowered. Other weapons need slight adjustments to bring them up to the point we currently see on pulse rifles, but in contrast pulse rifles dont appear to do as much damage in pve as other options available. I stand firm on this as ive used all pulse rifles in beta ALOT. Now auto rifles. In pve their damage is dependable and so is their range and stability, and i draw this comparison off the bat with pulse rifles. autos in pve feel superior and at the top of the pve weapons class, but not too far ahead. all pve weapons excluding side arms need to take notes in damage from auto rifles. Seriously. im pvp however they are close to the pulse rifles but lack a tad bit of damage. just a small damage boost, not range not stabilty, just damage and i think auto rifles will be truly competitive without being OP. now hand cannons. in pve their damage is awful considering other weapons. side arms are the hand cannons. sorta... and this needs fixed Asap. Please look at hand cannons in pve seriously. the damage is all it needs looked at. in pvp however im conflicted, they feel inconsistent. sometimes savage but more often beat into the dirt. i think pvp range lacks a tad and even damage, this is up for debate but you cant shake the inconsistency you get from them. scouts...... Buff. BUFF...BUUUFFFFFFF across pvp and pve. Zoom needs lowered. its one of the thing thats always hurt them. makes target tracking very difficult still. bring down to pulsw rifle zoom for better competition to them. they can harass but thats all. the slow firing scout we have (does not compute) has similar damage to a mida multi tool from Destiny 1 when it should feel like a jade rabbit archetype in both range and damage. again please please please buff scouts. they are terrible im both pvp and pve. their range is fine and so is stabilty. again its another damage problem. now sub machine guns. the biggest offender here. when they fire you would think those little guys are being fired from the hip when they arent and are launching out 100. cal rounds with all the recoil and range that feels worse than side arms which is just... Nope. both pvp and pve needs a serious look with SMGs. please. now heavys. fusion rifles NOT to be mistaken for linear rifles are incredibly powerful in pvp and pve, not necessarily OP but border line for sure. shotguns in pvp need a range boots. they feel like year 2 nerfed shotys in both terms of damage and range for pvp/pve. give em a look. grenade launchers need a better mechanic than bouncing its too difficult to get a kill when they bounce too far off. and only direct impacts in pvp and pve appear to be the only lethal impact they can do let alone the small blast radius. launchers in pvp appear to suffer from too little ammo. one more round would suffice being they appear to get only one shot. snipers are snipers. they feel great. maybe more aim assist to the head to make them more competitive to other choices. the statment with snipers is the same for linear fusion rifles. perhaps give linears a one shot body shot range though. its too much to have to charge up in pvp and have to get headshot to kill when you can just use a sniper. now supers and abilitys. supers need to charge faster. they charge so slow sometimes i cant even get my supers even when i drop 3.0+ games. Its very disappointing. Abilitys need to charge faster. About 5 to 10 seconds. Lets get this going!
