Opinions on the Beta and message to Heartfelt message to Bungie... Share your Opinions on the beta here too!!!

I really want to know what other people's opinions are on Destiny 2, I Went into the beta with the opinion that it was just going to be a big DLC just a way for bungie to get new players into it and have a do over with their name. Just FYI I'm a big Destiny fan, I've done all the dlcs got to max light played trails but if Destiny 2 is just going to be a glorified DLC I'm going to be severely disappointed. (Forgot to mention the music is so good!) Basic Thoughts: I did like the beta it showed me that it is different even if it's not apparent it is different it feels very polished guns act a bit differently from one another and the story mission was pretty good, and I like crucible again!! Strike Concerns: But the strike was a bit lacking, no real mechanics, it was a bit short and it lacked narrative in my opinion. Some strikes in d1 we're short and hard and some were long and easy (hehe), The inverted spire was to me felt like a bit of the best of both but it really lacked meaning full mechanics. Now I'm not saying throw mechanics all over the place and make it where you can only damage the boss for 2 secs every 30 secs or something, I just want something a bit more impactful and something different or random so it doesn't get repetitive. I do understand it is just one strike they showed us but I'm just stating my concerns. Now the narrative was pretty much no where to be seen here, in destiny 1 at the end of the strike there was a bit of debriefing and you got some back story during the strike especially the remade ones. Strike don't have to be so straight forward ether, go through 3 areas kill the boss... in the story mission homecoming you get picked up by Amanda halfway through the mission and you get put on a different playing area, so I kind of want something along the lines of how that felt to the player! Transition into Gameplay and Crucible: Ok done with the strike talk lol, I want to talk about my experiences with the raw gameplay and the crucible and kinda compare it to Destiny 1. Gameplay Thoughts: The Gameplay was very smooth and the Graphics at least on Xbox for me was very good experience. The addition of mantling is very great and needed but I felt like it doesn't work that well, Halo 5 is a good place to look for good looking and a great feeling mantle. D2's mantle is very lazy looking and just downright doesn't work all the time, you have to nail the feel of mantling as well like I said Halo 5 has a real nice feeling mantle and it looks good too. The Gameplay is definitely a nicer feel than Destiny 1's, it's very familiar and very fun!!! Most of the guns feel great but I do have a few concerns but I'll talk about that later. But yea not much to say about the gameplay but nice things, very great nice job Bungie! Crucible Thoughts: Omg I've had so much fun with crucible, it feels fresh and you can use any gun you want... but there are guns that are better and maybe some that are op. One of the things is you will get team shot a lot in this game and it feels horrible but if you change you play style you can kinda over come it. Pulse rifles are very dominant weapons in d1 and d2, its like a mix of range from scouts and bust damage of hand cannons. I think pulses should get a little looking into they are pretty good weapons just a little little tweak. Scout Rifles are a bit to rewarding for headshots in my opinion almost 20-30 damage more than a body shot it think body shots should go up a tiny bit like maybe 3-5 more damage. Submachine guns are so good close range and easy to use and hand cannons can beat you out still close range so you can be countered I think it's very balanced. But subs range drops so hard you have to be really close to them to use them which sucks a bit for pve but I think subs are balanced. Ok so I loved Crucible in d1 it was very fun even tho thorn and suros was a thing but I loved it, I loved trials too it was exciting and intense. I did start to fall off of it but then boom the taken king update/dlc was out it it just brought everything back I loved it yet again!!! And then rise of iron I was kinda done with it again and then they started tweaking stuff like special ammo and stuff and it just drove me away again and especially right now crucible just isn't fun it feels like a restrictive pvp experience and it just feels bad (man). But d2's pvp or at least in the beta is very fun and even with the balance issues I have while very minor I don't care it's fun I love it great job on crucible bungie it's frikn awesome!!! This that are Definitely broke and need fixing: Ok let's start off by saying I definitely like d2's beta and I'm probably getting the game, but Fusion rifle (not linear they are fine) the main ingredient is overpowered as fuuu lol. In pve they just demolish yellow healths and In pvp they can on shot supers!! From 20 miles away!! That need fixing for sure... the other thing I had problems with is the loot I was getting, I know the beta only had like 30 items you could get but I got power weapons left and right pretty much nothing else. And Finally Thing I'm Most Scared About: I'm really scared they will treat this as a way to just bring In new people to the old formula, I want this to be a new game not a dlc, and yes I understand bungie did everything right about preparing a sequel, has to have the same look/art style/relatively the same gun play/ lore as Destiny 1 it's just what you do when you do a sequel, and before you say look at battlefront 2 from battlefront 1 they are giving us all we want and the game looks and is almost a completely different game now. I was thinking the same thing but battlefront isn't continuing a story or anything lore related to battlefront 1 at all, battlefront 1 doesn't have a story it got every thing from movies and comics so there is nothing to continue. Battlefront 2 isn't connected to battlefront 1 at all besides the fact that there is a 2 in the name besides that it's just a new game based of a new story introduced I the 2nd one. So for Destiny 2 they have to bring the same look and feel d1 has because they are continuing the story and lore of the first one. Biggest worry right now!!: So scared that it won't be a new game, I'm scared that we'll already be level 20 just trying to get higher light from the start, I know our light got ripped away but do we get to go to level 20 again I really hope so I want a new game with new experiences. Final words Straight from my Heart Bungie I love you!: Even if Destiny 2 doesn't turn out the way I want or you want Bungie all of my love and support is with you, Destiny is one of my favorite games of all time and halo is one of them as well and Bungie you are my Favorite game developer of all time I love you so much Bungie you gave me so many good memories and helped me get through rough times in my life I even cry when I think about halo 3 custom game days it actually makes me cry because I had so much fun and I know that is my favorite gaming experience that I'll every have and you brought that to me I met some of my closest friends there even if we aren't really friends anymore or I've just not talked to them in awhile. Even when I was having a hard time right around the age of 15-16 destiny let me pour my heart into it so I could enjoy it and the streamers are so nice and that's why it is one of my favorite games and you are my favorite Game developer, I will always support you and Thank you. ,Love Tristen
