Destiny 2? No, not at all...

Same game but with a new overlay and a few changes but it's not part 2. I squinted my eyes a little during the strike and it was Destiny 1. Vex and same boss we've seen before with different colors? Gobbage Same grenades? Really? Same abilities? Come on. Same sound effects, animations and music in the crucible? Lazy. Same rolls on the guns just worded differently? No way. Same orbit screen? I can't even change the camera angle to make it look like a different game at least? If you're lying to yourself saying this is a sequel, just stop. It's copied and pasted, could've easily been an expansion but they're calling it a new game and will sell it at new game price YET WILL STILL BE INCOMPLETE. THEN will come the dlc (rest of the game). The only thing they have in mind for this game is the money. Innovation, creativity and customer appreciation aren't even on the radar. Destiny is a fun game but their business tactics are shameful. I'll wait till the price drop.

I do ultimately agree with you... I think it doesn't feel like a really good sequel. There are good sequels, and there there are sequels where you wonder why this is even out yet. We have Destiny 2 because it is corporate Activision and Bungie. Not because they actually had a lot of new visions and ideas. The skill perk trees offer less than what the first did. And in all honesty no one really had issue with how large the first Destinys trees were. Getting rid of things like Keyhole, Death From Above, Thunderfist, blink on hunters, etc, etc ,etc. Sensing us back to only 2 subclasses again, for a sequel? Yet story-wise were still progressing forward. That's actually really bad. I personally don't think Destiny was ready for Destiny 2. I don't think the things Bungie has so far actually warrant Destiny 2. Buy this is what we're getting. Something so very similar to the first, and the first wasn't well received. I'm supporting the game, but at the same time I know that this isn't a real sequel. You took your "7 something" rated game, with your 7 something rated expansions, and made a 7 something sequel because it's ultimately no different in vision, or scope. So, don't take it the wrong way bungie. I just don't think you were ready for a true sequel yet.
