"No... I just... don't remember it as vividly." Dusk sighed.
-
"Lush, do you have any info on that day?" JT asked, lowering the gun.
-
"I short circuited before I was drained dead," Lush said.
-
"How in San Hell are you here then?"
-
"Apparently my twin sister is powerful. Really damn powerful," Dusk said, "She managed to revive me like she was Mercy from Overwatch."
-
"Oh don't tell me you -blam!-s got revival magic now?"
-
"I don't know. I think it's just my sister," she told him.
-
"Special snowflake then? Alright, that's all I needed. Go on."
-
"About what?" Dusk asked.
-
"About information, I got all I needed."
-
"Alright then, I better be on my way," she sighed.
-
"You say that like you'd rather stay here, kiddo."
-
"Why?" She destested. Dusk wanted to leave. She had no need to be in the house. She got desperate. She did something risky. She did a poor quality job compared to her other tasks. She got caught. Whoop-dee f**king doo.
-
"That sigh usually means somethin' along those lines, is all."
Don't go yelling at me, I left this entire thing up to you. Notice how I didn't shoot? How I didn't arrest your character? I've left all the decisions in your hands and you got to this point. This could have went a lot differently - From JT killing or arresting Dusk to even training her in how to be decent at her job, if she wanted, or even JT becoming a powerful ally. Don't go bitching for your -blam!- ups.
-
"I don't understand, what you want with me. So you either tell me, or let me leave."
Dude. I'm not mad. She is.
-
"I told you that you can leave if you want."
Kk
-
"Oh, you did? Do you have an indirect, back door?" She asked.
-
"Who doesn't? More importantly, who would I show it to anyone if I'm keepin' it for myself?"
-
"Well then, do you have a different back door?" She asked. She stood up, her bow forming in her hands.
-
"I have a window, a grappling hook and a bit of creativity with getting 'round rooftops. Anywhere specific you need to go?" JT asked while he holstered the revolver in his hand. He stepped over to a large window by the kitchen, opening it to reveal a rooftop that was only a few feet below the windowsill and across a seven foot wide alleyway. Easily crossable by a well timed jump, though the grappling hook was for crossing streets.
-
"I got it. Lush? Helmet?" She asked. A helmet that had a visor. She pulled up the hood of her cloak. She climbed out the window, and jumped once. Then again, in midair, followed by a third jump that ensured that she crossed the gap.
