Go to rewards.xbox.com and sign up they give you Microsoft points for purchases on the microsoft store and xbox live
However, pre orders do not count unless it is a thing for "my missions"
I've gotten over 200,000 points back (200 dollars)

For example, let's say you pay 60 dollars with Microsoft points and pay the taxes with your debit card e t c. So let's say if you want to pre order multiple games. Your account balance won't go away, which means later. You have to pay more than you intended to. I talked to a person and I have to spend 13 dollars for in total of the taxes if that makes sense. Microsofts rules are: if you use a credit card or debit card to pre order one of your games, you WONT get charged on the same day. Especially when you use Microsoft pointsYou will get charged 10 days before the release day of the game you pre ordered. Your account balance will not go away. So it's hard to keep track of what you spent and you have to pay more what you intended to.
