Chase only had his sniper rifle on his back.
Otherwise, didn't seem so scary.

The weapon scared him enough. He definately would need convincing otherwise.
-
Chase sighed. "Puma. You can transmat the weapon away," Chase spoke to his Ghost. The sniper rifle was gone in seconds.
-
He looked at him, shyly
-
"Hmph," Chase turned the other cheek.
-
He entered the shop, standing a distance away
-
He decided to be friendly, "I won't hurt you..."
-
"P-Promise?"
-
"I promise you," Chase replied. He gestured for the goat-kid to come and sit across from him.
-
He did, a little nervously "S-So..what are you? Who are you?"
-
"My name is Chase Mantz. I'm a guardian," he attempted to explain.
-
"What's that?" He asked, curious
-
"I protect civilizations," Chase summarized, "So, yeah. Sorry about having my rifle out earlier. I forget that stuff scares people."
-
"You protect people?.........That's what they said, too. They hurt me a lot." He said quietly
-
"Who hurt you?" Chase asked, concerned.
-
"The people who did this to me." He said, quietly
-
"Who did that to you?" Chase asked, calmly.
-
"doctors and soldiers...."
-
"Soldiers...." Chase seemed to be caught by the boy's words. He sighed. "I'm not the same soldiers as them."
-
"I-I hope you aren't"
-
"So.... what's your name?" He asked. He took a sip of the iced coffee.
-
"They called me Alpha"
-
"Alpha may sound cool, but that's not a good name, believe me. Forget Alpha being your name. It's just a designation."
-
"...just call me Alpha" He said
-
"Fine. I just.... don't want to cause you stress by triggering those memories," Chase explained. "I'm Chase."
