"This! Is really! Weird!" Ulfric yelled as he looked out the window beside Cannon. "How are we flying right now?!"

"The engines push air down hard enough to keep us up!" He replied as the Gunship flew. "We're going faster than sound right now!"

"HOW. WHY." "Relax Ulfric." Halt, the leader of the grenwalds said to him. "Just accept it." "This is very unsettling!" [spoiler]you can enter the battle whenever you wish.[/spoiler]

"And what the hell is this?!" Ulfric asked as he picked up a black painted weapon.

"DC-15S blaster rifle. Fires blobs of flaming gas at the enemy." Cannon turned it over to show him. "Has a trigger like a crossbow. That box on the side has five-hundred rounds of ammunition. You're welcom to try it if you want, but I'd suggest sticking to ehat you know." Around them, a number of Mandos had started some sort of chant in their native language, a low droning song.

"...what the hell are they chanting?" Halt asked Cannon as Ulfric stared wide eyed at the weapon he held.

"An old war song, title translates as 'brothers all'. It's an old favorite among the troops." They kept chanting. Cannon looked to Ulfric. "Careful where you point that thing, it packs a bit more punch than what you're used to."

Halt nodded his head to the beat. "Hmph. Guess you really are a soldier through and through. Could've fooled me on that bridge." "Wait so do I just press this or...?" Ulfric asked as he went to pull the trigger.

Cannon quickly put a hand up to stop him. "Careful! You could take someone's head off with that!" The Mandos closest scooted away from Ulfric slightly. "Yes, you lign it up and squeez the trigger. The blast pushes it back, so make sure to brace it against your shoulder when yoh fire... If you use it."

Ulfric looked around at the reaction and chuckled softly. "Heh. Got it."

Cannon nodded. The ramp officer turned to them. "Alright you shabuire, we got sixty seconds until we areive at the drop zone. Levels of resistance are unknown, but they finally got the blizzard defences down."

"I guess we'll see if-" Suddenly halt was interrupted. The gunship was hit and began to shake. A beam of ice suddenly cut through the side of the ship, precise in its shot as it froze one of the mando's solid and he shattered from the blast.

"Hostile fire! Hostile fire! Taking evasive action, hold on to your buckets people!" The ship went into a series of maneuvers to throw off fire.

[spoiler]taking over one of your pilots[/spoiler] "Cannon! Sir! You should see this!" The pilot yelled to him as he flew the ship around.

"On my way." Cannon pulled on his black and gold helmet before moving to look through the ship's viewport.

As he looked out, he saw massive creatures flying through the skies. Straight out of the legends, dragons. They were ice like and misty as they soared through the skies. And one of them turned and pointed its head at Cannons ship. It opened its mouth, and a ball of ice coloured fire began to form...

"Shields full front! Bring up all weapons to bear on targets, set missiles to track them! Fighters break off and engage!" The gunships sent a spray of missiles at the dragons as the smaller fighters, a mix of Mandalorian made Fangs as well as X-wings moved to engage and draw the dragons off the transports.

The ice beam shot from the dragons mouth and hit the front of the ship directly. The shielding protected the ship, but... "Sir! The beam! It's freezing up our systems!" He yelled. "all systems are failing! I'm gunna try to set her down!"

Cannon nodded as the ship began to decend. "Brace for impact!" The ship moved downwards towards the ground.

"Is this a normal thing for these floating Ships?!" Ulfric asked Cannon as he popped up behind him.

"Those beasts out there froze our engine. We're going to hit the ground hard, grab onto something and hang on." He grabbed the netting on the ceiling.

"Wait...are those...?" Ulfric asked as the ship began to get lower to the ground. The pilot was doing a well enough job of keeping the vehicle slow upon his decent.

They hit and crash landed, skidding across the ground before coming to a complete stop. The doora on either side opened. "Go! Go! Go!" Cannon was the first out, rifle at the ready.

Ulfric jumped out beside Cannon and Halt did the same. Coldbourne soldiers immediately surrounded the crash zone, which seemed to be the gunship crashed into the second floor of a home in a crowded district.

Cannon pushed Ulfric behind him so his armor would shield them both as he raised his rifle to fire. The other Mandos opened up with a mix of blasters and wrist rockets.
