Lyn observed the coffins, walking up to them and lightly running a hand across one.
"Okay then...strange tomb it is."
She turned her attention back to the staircase, wondering where it went and if anything heard her yell.

The stair case around the room lead to the other three entrances she could not have come out of. Then, she noticed something about the coffins. Each one was inscribed with words. Likely those who were held in them. But the thing was, they were also all Opened. And each of the stone covers had the same patterns and carvings as the other. The first inscription caught her eye. "Here lies Faolin Coldbourne. The unbridled rage of the Coldbourne family."
-
"More like *sshole of the family." Lyn looked at each inscription and checked each coffin for anything inside.
-
"Lilly Coldbourne: Winters warmth." "Cain Coldbourne: The spearhead of the Deity." "Diana Coldbourne: The manipulator, the viper, the eldest sister." There was not a corpse in any of the coffins, however.

-
"That's one of the first questions I asked myself when I ended up here." a voice suddenly said. It seemed to come from the room and it was the sound of a man's. "Then I realized...there was no leaving a place you are cursed to." As Lyn turned to the source of the noise, she saw a ghostly figure standing between the coffins. He was tall, and had features that were awfully familiar to her. It wasn't Henry that much was certain. And this man did not sound like a friend of hers either. As she identified him, she realized this figure looked identical to that of... Felix Coldbourne.

"If you'd just sit down here and suffer forever that would be appreciated though. I hate you guys. Mostly your brother to be honest, but as a whole you guys suck."

"Well, guilty as charged considering I was enough of a fuck up to be manipulated by a cult of vampires." Felix told the girl. "The insult to injury is that they possessed my body for this whole sadistic scheme of theirs."
-
Lyn sighed and mumbled to herself. "I didn't check for that sort of thing....Hey!" Lyn stopped and turned around. "What can you tell me about this vampire thing and how can I trust you?"
-
"Well you can't really." Felix told her blatantly. "In fact if you were smart you wouldn't listen to me at all. But unfortunately for you it's your only option. So I will educate you." The spectre began to pace as he started his story. "See, when Alex killed father eight thousand years ago, he took the throne as well. The throne that was rightfully mine. He forced us, at least some of us, to follow him without question. He took the throne away from me. So, being the cocky young adult that I was, I tried to find a way to match the power of the fierce deity he had found. Are you following?"
-
"I'm not an idiot. Yes, I get it now keep going. My blades can harm spirits, so I advise against making me impatient."
-
"Hmph. Good to know." Felix commented before he continued. "So, I left the Ko rudo region and found myself in a coven of vampires. These vampires taught me valuable magic, such as how to heal by taking the power from another's soul, unlocking the potential of a soul as well as using the same power to revive those who had already died. What I didn't realize is that these vampires had another agenda. Their leader killed me, eight thousand years ago, and took the form of my body for all this time. I suppose he thought he could use my appearance to trick the family so he could usurp Tywin."
-
"Interesting. Keep going." Lyn sat down on a step, resting for a moment.
-
"There is not much more to say, besides the fact that the Felix you may have seen was not me. I have been dead a very long time. It was the vampire who resurrected my family so he could take down alex and conquer Tatakai. But...he had no idea what extent my father had gone to in increasing his own magic ability. No one will stand a chance against him..."
-
"Nah, they'll kill him. If I was there and knew he was possessed I could've probably pulled it out of him though....If you know a quick way out maybe I won't be too late to stop your father."
-
"My father is only possessed by his ambitions, not creatures of the night. But yes, I can help you get out of here. But no passage from the catacombs will lead directly to the castle."
-
"Damn. If he was actually possessed this would be easier....While you show me the closest exit to the castle do you mind telling me any advice you have on killing him? I'd just smite him, but...I'm not exactly at my best at the moment." Lyn stood up and sighed, brushing herself off.
-
"The only way alex was able to beat him was through using the power of the fierce deity. Without that power, I do not believe anyone can defeat him."
-
"Well, I may not be a god, but I get my power from one. Close enough? I'm trying to be optimistic. Hey, wait. Is there a way for me to get that power?"
-
"Zane and Alex have already ended Majora as well as any trace of his power. So no, there is no longer any feasible way to possess it."
-
"Hmpf! Well, then I guess my current power will have to do unless you have any better ideas. I'd really love it if there was another option than running in and using all I've got."
-
"There is nothing here you can use to power yourself. But, follow me and I can show you something that could weaken his forces."
-
"That works too. Lead the way." Lyn waited to follow the man.
-
Felix hovered across the floor and up the steps towards the north door. His astral body seemed to light up the hallways, allowing Lyn to see the skull built walls with ease. He continued on, taking a left and then a right. "I have to ask. Why are you fighting against my father to begin with? Is it a vendetta?"
-
"Because he's trying to take over and he's an obvious bad guy that killed Alex and his son killed my friend Henry. It's the right thing to do." She followed closely behind.
-
"And so you don't believe in order then? A few lives for the sake of an eternal peace? Seems naive of you."
