"Hmpf! Well, then I guess my current power will have to do unless you have any better ideas. I'd really love it if there was another option than running in and using all I've got."

"There is nothing here you can use to power yourself. But, follow me and I can show you something that could weaken his forces."
-
"That works too. Lead the way." Lyn waited to follow the man.
-
Felix hovered across the floor and up the steps towards the north door. His astral body seemed to light up the hallways, allowing Lyn to see the skull built walls with ease. He continued on, taking a left and then a right. "I have to ask. Why are you fighting against my father to begin with? Is it a vendetta?"
-
"Because he's trying to take over and he's an obvious bad guy that killed Alex and his son killed my friend Henry. It's the right thing to do." She followed closely behind.
-
"And so you don't believe in order then? A few lives for the sake of an eternal peace? Seems naive of you."
-
"No idea what you're jabbering on about, but okay. I just don't like someone that takes over by force like your father."
-
"He does it because he knows he's the only one capable of ruling the world properly. With him as Tatakai's king, he would be able to ensure peace across the globe. Though I suppose you believe more in the power of the people is that it?"
-
"Power of the people? Meh, I guess. As long as the person in charge is a good person with morals I don't care. Your father took over by force. That's not good."
-
Felix remained silent after her remark as he continued to move down the hallways. Eventually the hallway seemed to open up, and he moved up to a massive door. The door was ancient and stone made. It had a dragon carved into its right side while a skeletal warrior had its blade raised up to fight it. "Through here." Felix told Lyn as he went through the door, phasing through, not having to open it.
-
Lyn pushed the door to open it. "Fine."
-
The door was heavy, and grinded against the floor as she pushed it open. As she entered, she saw a small doorway up ahead as she entered a small circular room. The walls were stone made now but depicted imagery of a great battle. All of the fighters were skeletal in their appearance. As Lyn entered, the door began to close behind her as Felix made his way towards the north door.
-
"How much longer until this becomes a trap?" She jogged over to the door.
-
"How long do you think?" Felix asked her as he took a few steps away from the north door.
-
"Through that door." She stopped as well.
-
"Mmm. Possibly. But i was thinking now would be an ideal time." Felix suddenly said with a cold tone. Suddenly, the walls of the room began to freeze and turn to ice, and coated the doorways. Lyn felt a warmth underneath her feet however, and saw a massive glowing set of runes that coated the floor. Felix looked at Lyn as he stood five feet away. He gave off a light chuckle. "You didn't SERIOUSLY think I was going to help you kill my father, did you?" He asked her.
-
Lyn rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Obvious bad guy is obvious with most obvious trap ever. Come on, what is it anyway? Just ice? I can shoot fire."
-
"Would you like to try that now? Please, attempt it. It will be amusing."
-
"I swear to Voor...." Lyn attempted to open the door, ignoring the Coldbourne.
-
The door was completely frozen over, so she couldn't get a grip.
...you'll have to go into more detail with how Lyn plans to escape lol
-
Lyn formed a short sword in her hand and attempred to stab it into the ice at an angle.
-
Her blade had no effect against the ice as it scraped against it and awkwardly slid down to her feet. "Ha! You look like an idiot." Felix told her.
-
"Sure I do." She just ignored the dead guy, and this time tried again, the blade on fire with hot blue flames this time.
-
She quickly found that the blade still had no effect on the ice. It must have been enchanted in some way... "As amusing as this is, Lyn, I am going to end your life in this miserable place and add you to my wall of skulls." Felix threatened her. But as she looked at him, he was still merely a astral ghost.
-
"Yeah, of course. Bad guy will be bad because he's bad." She said in a dead pan voice before sighing. Lyn then attempted to teleport back behind the door she entered from.
-
However, she found out that her magic was being nullified by some form of neutralizing energy, preventing such an anti-climactic course of action. Then, Felix's spirit seemed to start to fade away. It was being sucked into the floor, into the massive rune on the ground...
