The game known as Destiny had a long hard struggle with irrelevancy after contracting sequel announcement syndrome. In the last few months, Destiny shed much of its population. Many Guardians said their goodbyes before Destiny went comatose on August 1st. Some Guardians tried to rouse Destiny, but nothing they did mattered. Today Bungie laid Destiny to rest, invoking the words of RNGesus. Guardians everywhere felt like they had lost something unique, such as their avatars and Crucible k/ds. Rest in Peace.
