"Yer tellin' me, you sent yer ghost to me home... and to bring back me 3D printer?!" Nick exclaimed as the three Guardians walked back to the living room.
Logan crossed his arms and looked at the large piece of machinery. "She's a beaut."
"Aye! She is, but she's me beaut!" Nick exclaimed.
Logan pretended to be dumbfounded. "What? But I thought you were moving in with us, and we couldn't just leave something like this laying around..." Nicolas, catching onto the sarcasm, began to grumble. "Plus, we need it," Logan added.
"New armor, aye?" Nick asked after sighing.
"Yup," Logan was already redesigning his forest green overcoat, but this time he added combat armor with flame-proof material. He replaced his hiking boots with steel-toed greaves that also guarded his shins and calves. Lastly, Logan pulled out a pair of gauntlets. After setting it on the table, he imbued his Void Light into the gauntlets and let the dark energy course through the braces. Merlin scanned the various pieces of gear, then transmatted it onto his Guardian. Logan spun around, now dawning his improved combat armor. "How do I look?" He asked.
"Like a true sorcerer," Angel said with a smile. Logan looked himself over, but focused on the Void that pulsed around his arm.
Merlin began to make a quiet groaning sound. "Just let it be," Alice said to him.
"But he's a warlock..." the ghost complained.
"What are you going to make?" Logan asked.
"Well, maybe a sand'ich, pro'ly get some chips, too..." Nick replied.
Logan stared at the man with confusion, but his helmet hid this. "Angel?..." he asked next.
"Well, I don't know. I mean, we're vigilantes now... we need to be a symbol for the City..." the woman said back as she thought.
"Well, the sky's the limit, Angel," Logan added.
"Sky's t'e limit? Lad, all you came up with were glow-in-t'e-dark gloves!" Nick declared. Logan glanced down at his arms, slightly disappointed now.
Angel began to ponder on what Logan said, and weaved the words, 'the sky is the limit' into her design. Then, another line came to mind: 'You are a Guardian, Angel'. Guardian Angel. Angel. The titaness smiled, then spun around to the other Guardians. "Mind if I do this in private? I want it to be a surprise."
Logan and Nick turned to the woman, then to each other. "Okay, sure," Logan replied.
Nick went to the refrigerator and grabbed two Red Death drinks. "Want anyt'ing?" He asked.
Logan saw the bottles in the hunter's hand. "I'm fine with one of those," he replied.
Nick looked around some more. "Sorry, mate, t'ere's only two left..."
Logan rolled his eyes. "You're not drinkin' both of those."
"Fine!" Nick exclaimed as he threw a bottle for Logan to catch. Angel watched as the two Guardians walked off, then she and Alice began designing her new armor. A smile grew on her face as the 3D printer produced a holographic preview.
An hour later, Angel walked into a man-cave of sorts. Logan and Nick were obnoxiously yelling at each other, telling the other to stop cheating. "You're screen-peaking, I know it!" Logan declared.
"I'm not! I jus' have motion trackers placed around t'e map!" The hunter replied.
"That doesn't explain how you know when I'm about to snipe you... from the other side of the map!"
"I could see yer scope glare. T'en, I'd snipe you."
"I surely doubt that," Logan rebuked.
"Why's t'at?..." Nick asked. Logan faced the one-eyed man, then decided to keep his thoughts to himself. "Oi! You t'ink jus' because I got one eye, I got poor vision? I'll have ya know, even with ha'f t'e numbers of eyes you have, I'm still two times better at sniping t'an you!"
"Havin' fun?..." Angel asked.
Logan paused the game and spun around. "Oh, hey. Ah, your new armor... it doesn't look much different..."
"Yeah, I liked the red and navy blue I had last time. But, like you, I made it to handle intense heat better," Angel replied as she spun around to show off her equipment.
Nick reached over to Logan's controller and unpaused the game. Logan spun around and watched as he died. 'GAME OVER' appeared on the screen. "That's cheating!" The warlock declared.
"It was not..." Nick replied.
"I wasn't watching."
"You're not watchin' ev'ry time you blink... Is it cheatin' t'en?..." Nick asked.
Logan thought about that for a moment, but he finally turned his full attention to Angel. "Do you have a large enough jetpack, there?..." he asked.
Angel smiled. "I believe so." Suddenly, two large, metallic wings extended from the device on the titaness' armor. Logan was startled from the unexpected action.
"My my, Lassie! T'is is very impressive, indeed!" Nicolas gawked.
"I think you took my motivating words... literally," Logan laughed as he got up to inspect the wings. They were light enough to carry, but they were very durable; benefits of being made of plasteel.
As swiftly as they extended, Angel's wings folded into the backpack; after that, Angel willed away her armor so she was in more comfortable clothing. "Alice made sure that they should work. She put them through simulations, and all sorts of things!" The woman exclaimed.
Logan snapped his fingers; a thought came to mind. "Merlin! Get in here!" Angel grinned, getting a good idea of what the warlock was planning.
Soon, the ghost flew into the room. "Yes?" He asked. Angel quickly ejected her wings out and raised them over her head; dark Void energy radiated from the blade-like tips of the wings and washed over the Guardian, giving her a menacing glow. "Ahh! Demon!" The poor ghost bolted out of the room and back to his study chamber. The door made an audible locking sound. Alice, Angel, and Logan began laughing hysterically.

To be fair, If I saw something like angel, I'd run away screaming.
