I was a clan member for Destiny 1, how do I transfer that over to Destiny 2?

Also the clan page is still really buggy, mine says that I'm the only member in my clan, and I know that's not true...

However you can not pick up the clan Banner until after you hit Level 20. Some people will say that you need to complete the campaign first, but I know for a fact that you don't because I received my clan Banner well before I finished the campaign.
