Him sharing his feelings about the subject in this manner allowed them to see that they are not alone. I feel like your comment was a passive-aggressive, cagey way of telling him to go and commit suicide, because those substances are extremely unhealthy. Especially when taken in large amounts, as you suggested he'd do. Not cool, Guardian.
