Are you blind? This a pretty accurate summary of the OP 's post. He just said "a bit socially akward" instead of "total basket case".

I read it word for word. I understand everything he said. Basically, it boils down to, "i dont like being inconvenience, and i'm a bit socially awkward". He admits such pretty clearly. It's not a big deal. I have friends exactly like that.

He talks about not wanting to be inconvenienced, AND he doesn't like feeling as if he is bothering people. That's both valuing his own time (not being inconvenienced) and having social issues (emotional angst as he put it) with others. But really, he's looking for attention to this "issue" of his own creation.
