Play solo, or don't, that's your choice. No one asked for an explanation, and no one wanted one.
And most of your "reasons" sound selfish. Just sayin.

Edited by LirraaK: 9/16/2017 1:24:55 PMeveryone is selfish mate. - it's why anyone ever does anything. - nobody does things they like or dont like unless they benifit from it in some way or another. emotionally, physically etc. - so choosing to talk to people/strangers with a mic (if you have that ability) for a limited time only to cut them out after you don't need them, or keep talking to them because you enjoy it, is still selfish. - and the choice is play solo or dont play at all when it comes to parts of the game. which makes no sense for game that "trying" to be coop friendly. they could do that by adding matchmaking. simple. - a fireteam of friends or people who are communicating, should be a bonus. not a requirement for an apparantly social encouraging game. - look at call of duty or battlefield. some could make the argument you need a team to play those games. -.. but sometimes, on rare occasion, you get a bunch of randoms that fill their roles beautifully. which unfortunately is almost unheard of/unseen in d1 and 2.

I pity you. That's legitimately the most pathetic outlook I've heard in a very long time. It's also 1000% false.
-
it's realistic. and true. maybe read books on human psycology/behaviour. or you know, have the gall to question your own motives for once. but I guess you're afraid.
-
"Books on psychology"? You think that's an accurate source to reference when referring to billions of people? And I have examined my own motives. And those of others. There are more than enough accounts of selflessness to blow your theory out of the water. You want to be miserable? Fine. Don't try to tell others they should be miserable too.
-
it's a start. so you're observations are more reliable than that of those that specialise in such subjects?..interesting.. - not enough it seems. go deep enough, and there's no such thing as selflessness. society just accepts certain things as "selfless" but it's always benificial to the "selfless" even if its just a warm fuzzy feeling. - and did I say was miserable? nope. if you cant handle it, then don't think about it or reply. ignorance is bliss after all. enjoy.
-
I'm sorry you're to blind to see the reality right in front of your face.

Edited by LirraaK: 9/24/2017 7:24:36 PMna mate, that's you. - some of us just arn't afraid to keep questioning everything. or simply don't have a choice in the matter due to our neurological makeup. - I've spent a large part of life talking to a lot of different therapists, of different backgrounds due to my high functioning autism. cbt, councilling, autism specialists. they always eventually ask questions that leads to this kinda thing, and have all agreed that what i say is pretty much right on the money. their reply: " try not to think about so much" and then encourage the commen cognitive behavioural therapy teqnique of "fake it to make it". but im happy with the truth. - no point bringing truth to someone to shortsighted, or maybe too afraid of the truth. I don't see continuing this supposed information exchange being benificial to me, even as perspective information. since ive already been exposed to this opinion, deconstructed and pulled it apart before with, and against therapists. im not going to learn anything new. - so as I said. enjoy your veil. g'bye

I agree about the selfish reasons. Clearly your other statement has been proven false by the comments in this thread(Which I totally did not expect)
