I really haven't had any problems with running out of ammo, but I could be down with them adding synths.
Probably because...
1. It wouldn't hurt/hinder my gameplay at all. So it wouldn't bother me.
2. I'm not the the type that thinks I'll look cool, or somehow better than those who want it, if I say, "No!"
3. I don't think I'm an edgelord/hard@ss, wanting people to experience inane difficulties, just because I'm not having a difficulty with that particular thing.
4. Even though I haven't had a problem with ammo myself, I have an open mind. I can imagine that there are situations/reasons for people to run out of ammo, that I myself haven't experienced. I don't think that everyone else in the world should be having the same exact experience as me; and that if they don't, that means they suck, or aren't doing it right. I have a good... oh what's that word? Oh yeah, a good level of "understanding". My head isn't stuffed inside of my own anal orifice.
5. If someone on my team runs out, I believe it would actually help me out, if they didn't have to die, or risk wiping us, just because they happen to run out of ammo.
But, that's just me. I guess I'm probably just not cool. Oh darn! What ever will I do?
