Before we start, Destiny 1 was shit. The entire experience was a cluster--blam!-, and I can say that having been a Vanilla Veteran with MAX 5615 Grimoire, ALL Moments of Triumph shirts, AND the Bungie Emblem. Oh, and Platinum in the main game and every single expansion. Just in case somebody thinks I'm not qualified to say everything I'm about to say. House of Wolves was okay. It was what Year 1 should have been from the start. The entirety of Year 2 was shit. The worst the franchise had to offer. Age of Triumph was what Year 3 should have been from the start. Destiny 2 is a better game than Destiny 1 in every aspect you can argue. Is it a good game? Almost. But it's definitely better than Destiny 1, and you people saying "Destiny 2 ruined this or that" "Destiny 1 had this good and that"; completely takes any credit you have as a forum poster, because you exact same people were shitting on this game for 3 years prior. [u][b]NOW HOLD ON[/b] [/u] I'm not saying your feelings are wrong. You *are* you, after all. You know yourself best, but what I'm saying is that your dissatisfaction comes from a different source. Destiny 2 seems bad because Bungie are making mistakes they already fixed in Destiny 1. They are breaking things that weren't broken. And they are making changes nobody asked for, that make the game less fun. [u][b]BUT!![/b][/u] The game itself is miles better than Destiny 1. If you think for a second that Destiny 1 was better than Destiny 2, leave this game without even commenting on my post and never look back. I'm putting my bets on black that you won't. So what are the main gripes about Destiny 2? 1.) Loot and Transfusion 2.) Crucible and Weapon Variety 3.) Eververse Trading (Microtransactions) and how it affects Guardian Life (EG Shaders, Currency, ect) Every time I see a post "Destiny 1 had this right, Destiny 2 is so wrong" "I miss Destiny 1 instead of Destiny 2, D1 is so much better" - - you -blam!-ing children, you don't know what you want. But you're wrong either way. All I can say is that Destiny 2 *does* need a few small tweaks, but it's better at launch than the entire 3 years of Destiny 1 combined. You're just too greedy and vain to see what you've gained this time around. Salty -blam!-s.
