According to the firearms officer who is based San Francisco but working in the case in Vegas he did buy the guns legally in 5 different American states. She also stated that he had modified the guns to make them shoot more bullets per minute as there was evidence found in the hotel room to show that. She also said that there was a total of 47 firearms found in 3 different locations that were all bought legally. Now I can't say they are all 100% facts but that's what the firearms officer investigating the case said on live television about 5 hours ago and I found out all that info by sitting on my arse at work here in Northern Ireland.
