Aura's, are they lackluster?

For those of you who don't know, an Aura is an aesthetic item in Destiny 2 that you receive after completing a prestige difficulty Nightfall or a flawless Trials of the Nine ticket, it is similar to the old D1 Nightfall completion buff with the exception of well ... the buff. My question to you is do you feel they are lackluster? do you feel that after slogging through a Trials or the Nightfall, that we should be given something other than an (in my opinion) poorly placed aesthetically with no real benefit to you as the player? or do you think that Aura's are fine as they are?

  • I was wondering what they were and how to get one. I probably wouldn't both equipping it as it kinda looks lame. That said, I'll eventually be getting it when I try to complete a prestige difficulty Nightfall. I won't be bothering for the aura but for the trophy and trying to platinum the game. They appear to have made it far easier to platinum this game than the previous one.
