why are the devs so stubborn?
•b-but microsoft funded it
why is it on steam then?
-
What is it that Sony gamers say ?they showed them the money 💰
-
Exclusives are stupid anyway. Come join PC and let the consoles die out (except nintendo we love you). -a former console player

Edited by Ambo: 10/8/2017 4:30:52 PMSony didn't want it so they turned it down. Microsoft took advantage of that. In other words, Microsoft paid up. Sony didn't. Simple as that. If you really can't live without Cuphead then get an Xbox.
-
Woah. Is that a ps4 player, complaining about an exclusive?! I never thought I'd see the day.

Edited by Chicken in Rice: 10/10/2017 5:19:50 PMDo you have any kind of PC? It can run well on basically any PC, you don't need a gaming one. The specs that are recommended for it on Steam are so low that an office laptop from 2012 could probably run it with no difficulty. And as for why it's not on PS4, I have one thing to say:
It's about time that Xbox got an exclusive that was actually really good. The Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn, Bloodborne, the list could go on. Xbox doesn't have any of those. Yeah we have Halo and Gears of War, but that's it.
-
Sony wants heavy hitter games not a game that won't break 1 mil sales
-
well its not the first game to do it, mirrors edge is an xbox exclusive on PC since microsoft also make PC OS's and have been designing their systems to coexist so you can use xbox files on the PC and vice versa (to a certain extent)
-
do you not own a computer? a rock with some wires could run it moderately well
-
Same thing can be said about a number of PS exclusives...
-
Maybe if it was a remaster Sony would want it on their system.

Edited by Tobito_TheGod: 10/7/2017 2:47:06 PMI think i can think of a few reasons 1. It's a MS exclusive. On PC it requires windows to operate. So it's still windows 2. It's also a play anywhere title if yoy buy the Xbone version. 3. Exclusive means only a select group is gonna receive something. The select group are people who own certain Windows products in this case 4. Buy an Xbone Or 5. Buy/build a PC 6. Thanks again for that Battlefront 2 beta code 7. I had a seven but forgot what it was. 8. I think 7 was "MS funded it" or something like that
-
You mean to tell me that an exclusive isn't going to the rival company. Your joking I don't believe you.
-
It's on PC. Get it there
-
Don’t worry we have lots of great upcoming exclusives last of us 2, god of war, Spider-Man and probably a few I missed
-
Get a PC or an Xbox and quit bitching.
-
Microsoft made Windows and Xbox coding very similar, so it's easier for games to be ported to PC Steam is a massive, extremely popular PC game distributor, and if you think with market sense, selling a game through that kind of platform is the best move to make.
-
The same could be said about almost every exclusive...
-
Cuphead's also on GoG.com.
-
Edited by Vizard: 10/8/2017 4:15:29 PMLooks good but meh, wouldn't buy it unless it was $10 or wait till its free on PS+. I'm just not the biggest fan of side scrollers. Then again, I can get it on pc.... just like every Xbox "exclusive".
-
Cause Sony didn't want to pony up the money That's the reason
-
Answered your own question. Same reason Bloodborne isn't on Xbox one. Same reason Halo isn't on PlayStation. Get the other system or play PC. Idk what else to tell you.
-
You think my laptop can run cuphead? ?
-
You realize that’s pretty much the entire reason any game is exclusive right?
-
There literally are many reasons it’s not on PS4
-
That's literally the only reason a game like Street fighter V is exclusive to ps and not Xbox
