100% on point.
I would add that moving snipers and shotties into the power slot was also a mistake. Snipers and shotties, love em or hate em, were a critical dynamic to the "fun factor" of Destiny.
I played mayhem crucible in D1 the other night, and had more fun those few hours, than i ever had i D2 in its entirety.
The funny thing is... I swore off D2 after the beta because i hated it, but soon thereafter, i bought into all the hype and people saying "its only the beta, it will be better when the full game is released". They were wrong.
Great post. GG and see you in D1!

You gotta learn that people who said "its only the beta, it will be better when the full game is released" will say today that "it's only the base game! Wait for the expansions!", then "It's the first DLC! Wait for the second!" and repeat this as many times as it takes, untill you see that there's no "waiting for anything". Destiny 2 is an expensive game and should have been launched with more quality than what people got. This excuse of "wait for X thing to happen" is unaceptable.

Destiny 2 should have been an expansion

Yes and no. In the sense of "expanding" D1, yes. Using the same weapon, loot and level systems. With new strikes related to the new storyline and all. However, in the sense of being a DLC, no. The original's code was already too messy since Bungie changed something (nerfs and buffs) almost weekly. Proof of that is that Bungie says that everything is "working as intended" but D1 is full of glitches. Mostly, the kind of glitch that forces you to wipe, not "useful glitches like Swords on Oryx's totems or Crota's bridge. These bungie fix ASAP. Last week, we were doing Vosik's challenge, and two of my teammates got shot by Vosik inside the closed rooms and died. Not to mention the years old Crota's glitch that makes the sword disappear as soon as you pick it up.

Those glitches and bugs are in D2 too...just one player in the lobby needs to have sloght network problems and you‘re bombarded with such things. It‘s will never change.

Yeah, network-related glitches I can "accept", however, the last time we tried Crota's challenge, everyone was with good internet (we went as far as to test the speed) and the sword disappeared more than 8 times. We ended up giving up because that pissed everyone.
