My husband and I feel the exact same way. You nailed it better than I could. We LOVED the story missions and adventure quests... they were amazing. But this "after game"... thing... is boring. There's nothing to really grind or work for. I don't care in the slightest about the raid, because everyone I know says it's awful, so I feel like I shouldn't even waste my time. I feel like I only played D2 for the storyline, which is all well and good, but I was under the impression that there was more to do. Even if there is more to do, there's literally no motivation to do it. And this shader and modification system nonsense is bull. I'm disappointed, because I enjoyed Destiny 1, and I would very much like to enjoy Destiny 2. On that note, I don't like my hand held when it comes to our class and trees--they simplified it way too much. My intelligence is highly insulted by this crap. As a game geared towards a teen+ audience, I can guarantee you that a teenager can figure a class tree out. The game's mediocre at best... and I really, really wish it wasn't. I want to love Destiny 2. I want to keep playing. But why?
