The problems with Uriel are miriad. High Cal rounds provides a range boost and a significant stagger in the enemy. Tap the trigger gives the initial burst added damage further reducing any opportunity to counter it. Finally the high stability in these high RoF autos makes it a much easier weapon to learn and master. It will undoubtedly be nerfed due to over use but until then, get one for yourself.

I’ve had one for a long time, before I even noticed the hype/meta. I’ve found that it can’t compete with a good sub or sidearm up close, nor can it compete with scouts at the longest ranges. This is why I use a scout and sub both in trials and normal cruci because I can almost always beat it if I play the range right. If the Uriel’s range was nerfed, it would still be good (too good?) but it would fit it’s place as an auto rifle and users would need to be very careful about their range, as opposed to winning most battles at both pulse and low scout ranges.
