"What the hell! That was cool." [b][i]He said, looking at the sword.[/i][/b]

"They're impressive, ill say that much." [b][i]He said, looking at the dummy. He thrusts forwards with the sword, Into it's stomach [/i][/b]

A large laser beam shot out through the other side and blew up a few more targets. "Huh. I'm rusty."

"I'd disagree. Sometimes a bit of splash damage helps." [b][i]He said, steeping back with the sword in a wrath guard position (blade resting on his shoulder), as he stepped forward with it and chopped into the dummies neck.[/i][/b]

After slicing through the dummy like it was made of butter, a diagnol (f*ck spelling) slash of fire shot out where he swung. "Yeah, but I'm not really in control here."

"Alright. Let's take it slow then, shall we?" [i][b]He said, holding the blade In a low guard, the tip about level with the centre of his chest.[/b][/i] "I'm going to do a straight thrust, basic move. See if you can focus whatever ability you use straight on now that you know where I'm striking."

"Sure, I got this....This is so embarrassing." The sword didn't sound too confident.

"Hey, confidence here. Your gonna kill it." [b][i]He said, laughing a bit st the pun. Cal it military humour.[/i][/b] "But seriously, if you don't think you can do it you won't be able to. Ready?"

"....You're too kind. Yes, I'm ready." The sword let out a deep breath despite having no lungs.

[i][b]He stepped forward, thrusting right into the target where the third and fourth ribs would be, right inbetween[/b][/i]

The dummy exploded in his face with a deafening boom. "Sorry! So sorry!"

[b][i]He laughed a bit as it happened, staggering backwards.[/i][/b] "ALRIGT, NICE SHOT, MAYBE SOMETHING A BIT LESS POWERFUL NEXT TIME?!" [b][i]He said, unaware he was shouting due to the deafening boom[/i][/b]

"YOU DON'T HAVE TO YELL! So lucky that doesn't hurt or affect me anymore...."

"Sorry." [b][i]He said, still a little louder than usual as the effects began to wear off.[/i][/b] "Yeah, you've definitely got some bite to you though. You have a name?"

"I usually let whoever wields me give me a new name. I've long forgotten my birth given one sadly."

"How about Joan, after a hero from where I come from, a woman named Joan d'Arc." [b][i]He said, lookinga t the sword as he spoke, smiling a bit[/i][/b]

"If you are to wield me then I guess my name shall be Joan. I'm sorry, did you tell me your name?"

"How rude of me, I didn't actually. Leonard Rivas, though most just use Leon."
