Dojo holo-training room.
It was a cool day at the Dojo, the sun out but the breeze countering it warmth. Many would enjoy this weather, though one man would do so later. Angelo was prepped for a training session, hoping to get back in the feel of things and hopefully work off the hangover he had. He had his usual gear on as he entered the sim-training, putting on his helmet as he had his hair covered by a bandana to not get in the way. The hud and vision lit up as he did, as he grinned under the helmet.
The scene in the room formed, a large open area. It was a dock with ships, next to a sea side town. Large metal ships rocked back and forth in the harbour as one was decorated, the target ship. Warehouses were next to it, and guards in body armour patrolled the area. It was an assassination op, get in, kill the terrorist Witch, and get out. Swiftly and quietly he began to move, rifle out as he moved down one dock that he started on. Instead of moving onto the cement of the dock he moved across poles in the water, bolstering his rifle and activating his cloak as he approached a guard. With a swift pull down and stab the man's body disappears as if it was pulled into the ocean's depth. He continued, moving through guard after guard as he did, having activated enhanced vision he could see them all before they even got the chance to see him. One almost saw him, as Angelo slammed a Kukri pommel into his gut and the blade into his chin, the man being knocked into the actual water this time. As Angelo got to the main ship, he knew it would have to get loud. He drew his rifle, and used his mark's ability, summoning his two ethereal allies to help him against the guards. He climbed the side of the ship, shooting one with his handgun straight in the head as the two ghost pirates skewered the other two. As 5 more came out Angelo took cover and fired back wothbhis rifle. Both his allies and the enemies ended up dead, .308 rounds filling the bodies like lead weights. His target finally emerged, what looked like a pale man with some age to him, bony but still moving. A crackle of electricity flew towards Angelo as he used his own ability, sending a Mako mine straight towards his enemy. The blast knocked him back, which game Angelo the distraction needed. He cloaked, moving off the side of the ship and scaling his way to the back of it. In silence he watched his target take three steps forward and look for him. As soon as he turned around, BANG!, 3 .308 rounds entered the Witch's skull as he slumped to the ground. Angelo removed his helmet, grinning as he finished the sim, putting his rifle on his back. He moved over to a sitting area outside, beginning to wipe down his weapons out of sheer habit as he whistled the tune of Drunken Sailor

Talath had walking past when the man happened to be outside the sim room. He could heard mumbling to himself. "Man this is brutal as hell."he says Talath was about 6'ft in height with a muscular build. He short black hair for once as he cut cause it was getting in his eyes. Talath was covered in bluish grey scales that covered his whole body. He was wearing looser clothes at the moment as was clearly heading to the training yard. He wasn't really keen on the sim room too much. But his real reason it simply freaked him out as wasn't natural to him but he would never tell anyone that. He didn't seem to notice the man that was sitting there either yet.

Angelo waved to the man out of kindness, smiling a bit. If the man wanted a sparring partner, Angelo looked like a capable fighter, maybe even able to give advice if that was what the person wanted
-
Talath looked in the man's waving direction and waved back. He then starts to walk over.
-
Angelo put away the handgun he had been cleaning, stuffing the cloth in his pocket
-
"Hi"says talath as he walks closer to him.

He had no idea that Blake was watching him, seeing if he really had the skill to survive. "You're a pretty good shot," he told Angelo.
-
"Thanks. Then again, I've been using this rifle since my military days, so I've gotten used to it. Don't change my kit to much, as it's what's kept me alive in the field so far." Angelo said, turning to him with his usual grin on his face. He still had the bandana on his head, covering his hair, and his rifle was on his back, and kukri in its sheath as he cleaned up his pistol.
-
"Yeah," the Titan nodded. Angelo could still see the Raze-Lighter glowing on Blake's back. Something about the blade seemed different. Not different from before. But different as in something he hasn't seen.
-
"Nice sword by the way. It's been a while since I've used one, doubt I've got any skill left with them. Usually jut stick with my kukri." He says, gesturing with his empty hand to his knife "Let's just say if I'm in melee combat against a Witch, I'm doing something very wrong."
-
"I'm not to good with things that have blades," he admitted.
-
"Well, I'd be happy to show you what I can remember from the HEMA training I used to do." He said happily.
-
"Chase is helping me learn," Blake noted, "I don't mind you teaching me a few tricks. I am going to carry this sword with honor."
-
"Sword is something always good to have. You don't run out of ammo, ou can use it when an enemy is too close for comfort, and it's pretty easy to make sure they're dead." He said, as he stood up and approached Blake. He was still clearly a little hung over.
-
"Those aren't the reasons I have the sword," Blake sighed. He pulled the blade off his back, holding it on his hands and staring at it.
-
"Used to be the person you lost's I'll assume?" Angelo said inquisitively, a somber tone in his voice

"This was James's blade. He forged it. He infused his light into it," Blake said, His hand ran over a crystal attached to the blade, "This shard... holds what remains of his light."
-
"Well, not the keepsake must people choose but I can see why you chose it. If you want, i can avoid that topic.@ Angelo said. He knew that he might not want to talk about his fallen comrade.
-
"I also think I might tell Chase.. soon," he added. This did nothing to stop the tears. In fact, it was only hurting him more to say that.
-
"Hey, if you want I can be there when you tell him to back you up. Moral support." Angelo said. He didn't know if his friend would ask any questions about what was said while they were drunk, or if he even remembered
-
"I'm not sure when I should tell him, though," Blake sighed, "Any suggestions."
-
"Any time really. Just, get it out there and face what he says. He insults you for it, you give him shit for it. If he's casual about it, then just accept that some things don't work out. And if you get lucky and he says yeah, then great." Angelo says, after taking a moment to think about it
-
"Thanks..." Blake replied with a positive attitude, "I'm feeling a bit more confident." "You'll need it," Flame said, appearing.
-
"No problem. Like I said, you want me there to back you up ok more than happy to. I know that doesn't say much, considering I know you about as well as any other drunkard inns a bar." He says laughing a bit as he holstered his pistol from cleaning.
-
"You can come along," Blake offered.
-
"Aight. Well, just tell me whenever you're planning on doing it." He says. "Gotta admit, it takes some guts to do it."
