"Thanks. Then again, I've been using this rifle since my military days, so I've gotten used to it. Don't change my kit to much, as it's what's kept me alive in the field so far." Angelo said, turning to him with his usual grin on his face. He still had the bandana on his head, covering his hair, and his rifle was on his back, and kukri in its sheath as he cleaned up his pistol.

"Yeah," the Titan nodded. Angelo could still see the Raze-Lighter glowing on Blake's back. Something about the blade seemed different. Not different from before. But different as in something he hasn't seen.
-
"Nice sword by the way. It's been a while since I've used one, doubt I've got any skill left with them. Usually jut stick with my kukri." He says, gesturing with his empty hand to his knife "Let's just say if I'm in melee combat against a Witch, I'm doing something very wrong."
-
"I'm not to good with things that have blades," he admitted.
-
"Well, I'd be happy to show you what I can remember from the HEMA training I used to do." He said happily.
-
"Chase is helping me learn," Blake noted, "I don't mind you teaching me a few tricks. I am going to carry this sword with honor."
-
"Sword is something always good to have. You don't run out of ammo, ou can use it when an enemy is too close for comfort, and it's pretty easy to make sure they're dead." He said, as he stood up and approached Blake. He was still clearly a little hung over.
-
"Those aren't the reasons I have the sword," Blake sighed. He pulled the blade off his back, holding it on his hands and staring at it.
-
"Used to be the person you lost's I'll assume?" Angelo said inquisitively, a somber tone in his voice

"This was James's blade. He forged it. He infused his light into it," Blake said, His hand ran over a crystal attached to the blade, "This shard... holds what remains of his light."
-
"Well, not the keepsake must people choose but I can see why you chose it. If you want, i can avoid that topic.@ Angelo said. He knew that he might not want to talk about his fallen comrade.
-
"I also think I might tell Chase.. soon," he added. This did nothing to stop the tears. In fact, it was only hurting him more to say that.
-
"Hey, if you want I can be there when you tell him to back you up. Moral support." Angelo said. He didn't know if his friend would ask any questions about what was said while they were drunk, or if he even remembered
-
"I'm not sure when I should tell him, though," Blake sighed, "Any suggestions."
-
"Any time really. Just, get it out there and face what he says. He insults you for it, you give him shit for it. If he's casual about it, then just accept that some things don't work out. And if you get lucky and he says yeah, then great." Angelo says, after taking a moment to think about it
-
"Thanks..." Blake replied with a positive attitude, "I'm feeling a bit more confident." "You'll need it," Flame said, appearing.
-
"No problem. Like I said, you want me there to back you up ok more than happy to. I know that doesn't say much, considering I know you about as well as any other drunkard inns a bar." He says laughing a bit as he holstered his pistol from cleaning.
-
"You can come along," Blake offered.
-
"Aight. Well, just tell me whenever you're planning on doing it." He says. "Gotta admit, it takes some guts to do it."
-
"I've only have enough of them to do it once," he told Angelo, "It's been plaguing me for years. Best go do it now." He placed the Raze-Lighter on his back again, and started walking.
-
"Probably for the best." He says, as he followed, his helmet under arm and military gear still on himself. In any other place, a man in full military gear may look strange
-
After a few minutes, Blake had found Chase. "Chase!" He called, "Wait up!" The Titan sighed, "What is it this time, Blake?"
-
Angelo waved as they approached, significantly more sober than the last time the two had seen each other. He didn't say anything, being mid yawn as they approached
-
"I just want to talk to you about something," Blake requested. "Okay, what's on your mind, I'm all ears," Chase replied. "Chase.... remember how that Hawaiian lady implied that I had a thing for James?" He asked. "I recall." "I kinda nodded along to it." "You sounded sarcastic, but you were also pretty hammered." "I.. I lied. I didn't have a thing for James--" "O-kay.." "I secretly had had a crush on you all these years." Chase's eyes went wide as he got hit in the face with the truth. A truth that could literally only hit in the form of Blake's flaming hammer. Everything Chase had ever thought about his comrade shattered. The two stood in silence for several minutes. It took time for the words to settle in. And for Chase to figure out how to reply to this without freaking out.
-
Angelo smiled a bit heRing the man say it, get it off his chest. He admired the guts it took, remembering his he himself hadn't even broken news about a similar fact to his own team.
-
The silence endured for another minute. "Wait a minute...? Hold on... Blake are you asking me out?" Chase asked. "I... guess so..." he replied, nervously. Chase sighed, "No. I'm not interested in you. Plus, well, there is some examples to back up my reasoning." Blake sighed, "I probably would know some of those reasons." "I know you would. I hope this doesn't complicate things." "Or the fact we're teammates and friends would make things more awkward." "I don't think this will help the fact that Sarah ships us together, that would lead to more teasing." "Can we drop this before it gets too awkward?" "You're probably gonna repress this memory, anyway."
