"I just want to talk to you about something," Blake requested.
"Okay, what's on your mind, I'm all ears," Chase replied.
"Chase.... remember how that Hawaiian lady implied that I had a thing for James?" He asked.
"I recall."
"I kinda nodded along to it."
"You sounded sarcastic, but you were also pretty hammered."
"I.. I lied. I didn't have a thing for James--"
"O-kay.."
"I secretly had had a crush on you all these years."
Chase's eyes went wide as he got hit in the face with the truth. A truth that could literally only hit in the form of Blake's flaming hammer. Everything Chase had ever thought about his comrade shattered. The two stood in silence for several minutes.
It took time for the words to settle in. And for Chase to figure out how to reply to this without freaking out.

Angelo smiled a bit heRing the man say it, get it off his chest. He admired the guts it took, remembering his he himself hadn't even broken news about a similar fact to his own team.
-
The silence endured for another minute. "Wait a minute...? Hold on... Blake are you asking me out?" Chase asked. "I... guess so..." he replied, nervously. Chase sighed, "No. I'm not interested in you. Plus, well, there is some examples to back up my reasoning." Blake sighed, "I probably would know some of those reasons." "I know you would. I hope this doesn't complicate things." "Or the fact we're teammates and friends would make things more awkward." "I don't think this will help the fact that Sarah ships us together, that would lead to more teasing." "Can we drop this before it gets too awkward?" "You're probably gonna repress this memory, anyway."
-
"Well, definitely not the worst response you could've gotten." Angelo said, feeling a bit of relief on the fact that this was the result of the situation. It could've ended much worse.
-
"See ya later," Blake told Chase, starting to walk away from his teammate. "That went better than I thought it would," he muttered.
-
Angelo followed Blake, smiling a bit as he patted him on the shoulder "What, expected to et stabbed?" He said jokingly, attempting to lighten the mood
-
"A more serious no, and a knee to the groin," Blake shrugged, laughing.
-
"Ok, yeah. That classifies as a lot worse." He says. "Still, that took some gut." He said, just thinking about the time that he would tell his own team, or about what had been said the night before. He was surprised he could still remember it
-
"Well, I'm kind of a brave guy" he chuckled.
-
"It's a trait I can definitely admire. Gotta have some courage in careers like our, right?" He says, grinning a bit.
-
"Hey... uh, do you remember anything from last night?" He asked.
-
"It's, uh, its in bits and pieces but yeah I remember some of it." He said, hoping Blake wouldn't ask, but he knew that Hope was futile.
-
"Okay... I think I did flirt with you a little," Blake replied. His hand drifted to his belt, to the handle of some sort of hammer. It was huge, the head was less than five feet in volume. Its handle had spirals, and the head of the hammer was jagged. The other side was a well carved falcon.
-
"Yeah, I remember it faintly..." Angelo said, cracking his knuckles as he speaks je, as if nervous, or a possible habit he had developed over the years.
-
His rands ran along the head of the hammer. "You seem nervous," He noted.
-
"I didn't not remember everything. Just something with me, when I don't know everything about a situation I can get a bit antsy." He lied. Usually he was a very "go with the flow" kind of guy.

Edited by Splashback77: 11/27/2017 5:27:50 AM"At least you aren't as unlucky as Sarah. She remembers too much. Including her life before she was a guardian, three of them, actually," Blake told Angelo. His hands were now fidgeting with something else, a piece of paper, or maybe a candy wrapper of something.
-
"Well, I can't say I know the feeling, though I could picture how it might be hard." He said, his eyes stealthily darting over to the piece of paper to see what it was
-
Edited by Splashback77: 10/25/2017 12:20:50 AMIt was a candy wrapper, of a Jolly Rancher. Grape flavor, according too the wrapper. The crackling sound was somewhat annoying.
-
Angelo didn't mind really. Little noises had stopped annoying him when he learned to block out things to listen to his surroundings. To be honest he didn't even really hear the wrapper
-
Blake continually silent. Until Flame appeared. "Aw, you can't talk. Poor Sunbreaker. I'll talk for you," the firey Ghost mocked. "N-n-n-o! No Flame!" Blake yelled. "Ya know, Angelo, Blakey was dreaming about you-uu~!" Flame said.
-
"W-wait, What?!" Angelo said, taking a step back. He turned away from the ghost, a bad attempt to hide embarrassment. He didn't necessarily sound angry, just surprised. If one listened ridiculously closely, one might almost hear a tinge of happiness
-
"Yeah, it was a very mushy dream too," Flame added. Blale blushed. "That's not true!" He denied.
-
Angelo didn't turn around, a bright blush forming on his own two cheeks. If one peeked at his face they'd see it as well, and he was debating putting on his helmet simply to cover it
-
Blake put on his helmet, the Darkblade Helm.
-
Angelo did the same thing, planning just to keep it on until the blush on his cheeks subsided. He wanted desperately to ask if that ghost spoke true or was simply lying... So following Blake's lead as of earlier, he did. "I-is he honest?" He said, no sense of a condescending tone. It was as if he was saying 'no judgement on whatever you tell me.'
