REMINDER: Bungie has yet to respond or fix the problem with AMD Phenom users not being able to play.
It's been 20 hours now, with no communication from bungie, and AMD Phenom users left in the dust, myself included. A great deal of people are issuing refunds now, and the only other option to play is to upgrade your computer, which will be costly for many people since you will have to most likely upgrade your motherboard too, so approximately a 300€ process.

1 ReplyStill, nothing new about a fix for Phenom II user's? That's very sad, since the game worked fine on the beta there's no way one could think that it wont run at the game launch. Since I cant afford a new CPU right now, and bought it from a retailer that wont refund me, theres nothing we can do except await from Bungie thar doesnt even give us an official detailed info, about why Phenom user were able to play the game at the beta, and it gets "below our stated minimum specs" at the launch, on this game that was the highest price I've paid for.

Edited by TopazMenethas: 10/26/2017 11:32:57 PMBungie has stated that Phenom II series will not work with the game because it is missing SSSE3 and falls below the minimum specs as a result. If you paid attention, you would know that they are trying to fix that issue.

I am disappoint cause I bought from retail told that if the beta ran then it would run on my PC. It ran and it ran very well, but now nothing. Feels like a bait and switch honestly.

The thing is my phenom CPU worked just fine on the beta I was even over 70fps. I just need to know if bungie plans to fix this or if they are not so that I can move forward. As of right now I am stuck in limbo.

Yep. I'm waiting for some news till tomorrow, otherwise I'll ask for refund. I can't play the game (even now requirements say nothing about SSSE3, you need to read the forums to actually know it is not supported), and I can't afford a €300 replacement because ONE game will not work on a otherwise perfectly good CPU (I had no issues with any other game).
