These people probably forgot to turn off their Rust hacks, fired up Destiny, and was like BAM “Oh sh!t”. There goes $100 down the toilet.

You're wrong here. There is CLEARLY a problem. You have never heard about something like this on ANY game launch ever. People were pressing the play button and when the game launched their account was banned. You're telling me they have admins or whatever standing by banning "cheaters" before they even enter the game? And they did this "manually" for all bans? I personally know several people banned in this manner, my account included that were not cheating or using any software for this game. So, you're wrong, it IS Bungie's fault.

Yesterday I got permabanned 5 minutes after making a character, shooting at Cabal. Why would someone run a hack on an intro mission for a game that was released a few hours ago? I've been playing since Destiny 1 on PS4, the fact is that hundreds of people who're getting banned minutes into firing the game up probably have some legitimate grievances.
