Weird that bungie themselves used that exact same narrative as "true" when it looked good for them, yet it's false when it doesn't. You can believe them all you want, but I have 80+ friends on my ps4 that I met through destiny, all of which were logging a month ago, very few of which log now. If my small sample size of 80 friends shows a massive decrease of population, I'm willing to believe that on a massive scale it is also true. I'm also sure if you got a threat from the company that makes your website possible by sharing API, you wouldn't remove the tracker either. Of course this coincidentally happens on the PC release day, despite the fact this "false narrative" has been on that website for over a month with a steady decrease in numbers, and 4 years now before that, without issue.
