Because Bungie said so, that's enough for you to believe that's really the cause of the bans?
It's insulting too because I sure know I don't have any cheating software on my computer and got banned. I am diamond/master player in Overwatch, I am 31 years old. I love Destiny and played the first one on PS4 for a long long time.
I pre-ordered this game in August and planned to cheat in it ??
