What I said in that post is still true today. None of the 3rd party overlays or performance tools like Discord, Xsplit, OBS, RTSS, etc. will cause a player to be banned, you can read more about that [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46101]here[/url]. If you are trying to attach cheat tools, debuggers, or manipulate games files, those are things that can result in a ban.

Read hundreds of posts saying overlays were the "Only" thing players could account for a ban...more damage control coughed up.

It doesnt work with overwatch either stop playing innocent only blizz app games have this problem blizzard tells you on their official forums it crashes overwatch to use in game overlay is it that big of a jump to think activision told yall to push it one step further after it surfaced they implemented systems to push you to buy mt's this is why game population is plummeting

The problem is simple. Use of tools like Discord and so on is not a banning offense. Using other tools are banning offenses because they're considered cheating. The problem? I said it was simple right? It is. This is it. Bungie lacks the basic competence to be able to tell the difference between the legit tools and the illicit tools. So as such. They are as likely to ban a legit tool as they are to permit an illicit tool, because they can't find their own ass with both hands, a flashlight, a map, and a compass. So might you get banned for using a legit tool? Yes. Why? Not because Bungie is specifically targeting that tool, but rather because they honestly don't have the competence to be able to tell the difference between one tool and another, only that there is a tool being used.

"...we banned approximately 400 players on PC" The PC version has only been out for just over a day and now you are saying that "only Bungie can ban a player after a manual investigation".... Do you want us to believe that in less than 36 hours Bungie was able to do 400 "manual investigations".... Sorry, sounds like more BS to me....

I did the maths, each account would have gotten 5.4 minutes to prove innocence/guilt if just one person did the manual inspections. I wonder how big the team at bungie is.

Not saying they only had 1 person, but theu probably had a team of 20, giving each person 108 minutes to prove innocence/ guilt but the problem with that is that it seems tha multiple people have gotten banned at the same time with only a handful, or even no, time in-game.
