Well I don't know what "your job" is, but if you have worked in customer service for any stretch of time; the one thing you're told is the "customer is always right, even if they're wrong" and 9/10 times they're wrong. But that doesn't mean you can tell them to "eff off"; not unless that's the last customer you're ever planning on dealing with at that job.
I don't blame Bungie for ignoring all the toxic posts, I mean how are you suppose to respond to something like "like this post if you think Luke Smith should be fired"? But this might come as a shock to some of you: but not every post that talks bad about Destiny 2 or Bungie is toxic. Some people are genuinely upset with the game, want it to do well, and so go into great detail explaining exactly why they're upset; and they still get ignored and called toxic by all the delusional fanboys on here. And the fact that Bungie is shying away from topics like these, only offering a vague "we're working on it" if anything while saying crap like "the real endgame is friendship" or "You're just playing the game wrong, Destiny is a collection game" only further breeds toxicity.

If you have ever worked in customer service they very first thing you will learn if the customer is usually wrong and will lie their asses off to get what they want. Nice customers get what they want, ass holes never do.
-
Did you even read my comment? I said the customer is can be an a-holes and that I don't blame Bungie for ignoring toxic posts. What I'm saying is the "nice customers" are getting treated like the a-hole customers and are being ignored.

Are they? Us "nice customers" are being drowned out by the ass holes. We can't make a single post with out it being flooded by ass hole comments like "D2 is bad and they should feel bad" or "They got your money they don't care" "fire Luke Smith" and the list goes on and on. Any post the Devs do makes is instantly filled full of hate just like Cozmos post here. Everyone bitching claims they want Bungie to reply and when they do they get attacked. Think about it.

And what do you define as a "nice customer"? Someone who will sit complacent and be happy with the pile of turds Bungie served on their plates? You think Luke Smith crys himself to sleep at night cause some 14 year olds on the internet don't like him? Bungie is not some helpless child getting bullied over the internet. They are a AAA games studio who needs to learn how to communicate changes they are planning on making to their game to their community. They don't have to respond to every single post, that's just unreasonable. They have TWAB for a reason. Instead of telling us that "changes are on the way", tell us what those changes are. Show us at least some examples of some things you are working on to get our opinion on them and I garentee you that you'll at least see some positivity come back to this community.

Oh you mean like they did with the twitchcon live stream?
