*AND HIS TEAM
So everyone remember Chris? That emo dude with nice shoes from House of Wolves and then Rise of Iron. Well, basically, in my opinion, he was one of the developers that started to make D1 a better game. House of Wolves was (again in my opinion) the start of the turning point for the fundamental changes D1 would go through, for the better. Sir Barrett blesses us once again. All hail the king.
New systems and rewards to give our most engaged players additional, optional pursuits.
Better incentives for players who complete challenging Prestige activities.
Better rewards and replay value for strikes, adventures, and Lost Sectors.
Private matches for the competitive community (we are targeting early 2018).
Crucible tuning like adjusted Supremacy scoring and better spawning rules.
Better incentives for completing Crucible matches (and penalties for quitting competitive games).
Continued improvements to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies, including uniqueness of rewards.
Changes to make the mod economy more interesting and impactful.
Ongoing improvements to Exotics, including adjustments to reduce instances of duplication.
New ways to spend surplus currency and materials (looking at you Legendary Shards).
An emote interface that allows players to equip Salty, Spicy Ramen, Six Shooter, and Flip Out all at the same time.
There's more we're working on. We'll talk again soon.

Yeah but theyve dont deserve any level of trust yet. Just wait n see if they really come through. Until then, keep the pressure up. No complacency.

Edited by Riv3rMon5ters: 10/27/2017 1:44:49 AMFinally a meaningful response from Bungie. This is all great stuff. A few things still missing that I wish they’d change (weapon loadout system, more powerful weapons/lower ttk, more and stronger abilities, and random rolls) but some of that may never come into the game :(

I hope so. I don't give a damn about the emote thing though. I also notice no mention of getting to choose play mode in pvp. I hope they have plans for that, because I'm just not going to do that revolving wheel of trash anymore.
-
So i should wait until 2018 to play the game that i spent 100 bucks on in sept, for it to be good and finally worth it. got ya

Edited by SKELTON: 10/27/2017 12:23:45 AMI uninstalled Destiny about 2 weeks after HoW came out...
-
Will be out by second dlc.
-
Soooooo close to returning D2 today only for this single little post from Bungie to save the day. I’ll hold on a little longer to see what comes of all of this
-
Don't mean to sound negative here but both of those expansions were lackluster in content, very reminiscent of our current situation.
-
Funny. You all act like he is doing all thia on his own. It's a development TEAM, folks. Many, many moving parts. It takes time to get the information, formulate fixes and plans for going forward, compile said information, get the ok from management, put said information into a user friendly format, and then present said information to consumers in a fashion that will ensure maximum visibility. Even funnier, all the vitriol spewn in these boards these last few weeks, appeased by a few vague promises.

I'm just gonna be here with my popcorn waiting on my salty topping from the new things people cry about after this update.
-
2 of my personal favorite DLCs of D1 especially "rise of iron" I loved the story added and where it led! The new hub was fun with the hidden activities to find through out. It's a small step in a more positive direction for majority of guardians in my opinion and destiny itself. Though it should not have been implemented after release drop. We all wanna see destiny succeed I want destiny to succeed just as much as Bungie and it's team.

no specifics and no dates
-
So wait till year 2 two to buy got it
-
Multiple emotes has been long overlooked. Good to see
-
It's a trap!
-
Nah....none of that(tittle) but I'm hopeful in him taking over. Hope he fixes destiny 2. Cautiously optimistic, but if we have too buy dlcs in order get the fixes......
-blam!- it...I'm out....
-
You realize that this is just history repeating itself ... people said the same about luke smith
-
Son of a bitch... ...they just might pull it off. A glimmer of hope.
sorry for the pun
I’ll remain cautious, but this is indeed a turn for the better.
-
Don’t make me hopeful.

This was literally all I wanted Bungie to say "We are working on these issues"
-
Looks like they are listening. Excited to see it.
-
At first was excited to seethe name Christopher Barrett associated with this game. Disappointed, it was not the designer of the Barrett 98B bolt action rifle.

Cautiously optimistic
