Yeah, I remember. I also remember them saying a lot of things and not backing up their own words. The entire D2 is proof of that.
I also remember the most selfish thing this company has ever done in this game. Them nerfing a lot of y1 and capping all of Y1 at 170 but allowed everything to work as intended in PvP. With them saying Y1 was never coming back, only to find out later in the next expansion using some of them y1 as a carrot.
I remember Deej saying something about " we don't want you to look at your favorite gear etc as something being obsolete yatta yatta yatta" then Ttk came around and it was all obsolete.
I also remember Bungie using gamers as an excuse on why they did cap y1, but they also removed primary elemental, and said "they wanted everything to feel the same acroos the entire board" knowing all the while their sandbox could of been doing their job. Imagine that
I could go on, but Bungie says a lot of things, the problem is knowing they don't know how to back up their own words.

I remember after TDB dropped they said it was a mistake to make us relevel our exotics and they won't do it again. It happened Everytime a dlc dropped.

This game has always been mismanaged because of the higher ups. How can anyone expect the devs that actually do the work to make a complete game when the higher ups can't get their own act together.

Edited by Friendship: 10/27/2017 7:50:01 PMWasn't destiny 2 supposed to come out in 2016? If it did, what they said about year 1 gear not coming back would've stood true. Just thing how you and the forums would've exploded in rage if they said hey d2 isn't ready yet so here have your old stuff back Also gear was still usable I'm crucible. Funny that you bring that up, removing the necessity for power levels in end game pvp does allow all your gear to stay relevant even Yeats down the road, but people complained about that too
Wasn't destiny 2 supposed to come out in 2016?
Just thing how you and the forums would've exploded in rage if they said hey d2 isn't ready yet so here have your old stuff back
False, I never complained about reskind, my issue was them not bringing most things back and only using 1 or 2 exotics to string gamers along.
Funny that you bring that up, removing the necessity for power levels in end game pvp does allow all your gear to stay relevant even Yeats down the road, but people complained about that too
Lol, I can care less about PvP. So overall your reply of you thinking you were being clever is actually funny. Anyways, good luck on all that.

Yep. Spot on.

You forgot the big daddy lie of all time... "Your Guardian will grow with you over 10 years. We want you to look back on a piece of gear and have memories of what you did to achieve it." It was something along those lines... I'm not digging up the exact quote.

Edited by Friendship: 10/27/2017 7:53:58 PMLike how the forums have been whining about how getting gjallarhorn was such a great experience years ago. One that d2 is lacking

Edited by TheShadow-cali: 10/28/2017 12:10:15 AMShhh, gamers like to say Bungie was talking about their contract. Not our guardians lol.

Oh shib. My bad lol
We want your Guardian to grow with you over this 10-year journey. We want you to look at a piece of your gear, and have those memories of what you did to achieve it. We want your gear to be seen, and to spark up a conversation about it, even five or seven years into the Destiny journey. We want your gear to tell a story.
Thank you, sir! Yep, 5 years, right.

No problem. They had DeeJ and Cozmo crow this nonsense non-stop for all of Destiny 1. All the way until about a week before Rise of Iron dropped, when they broke the news that they were taking everyone's loot away in D2. Then the had the audacity, even when presented with copy/paste -QUOTES- of their own words, to act like they never said any of it. After that, and all three years of Destiny 1 lumped on top of it, with all of their lies compounding on themselves; after that I lost any hope of honest communication from Bungie. They've showed no remorse about, nor any hesitation to, blatantly lie to their own fanbase. They'll speak pretty words to their Players to try to assuage some of the rage, but they show zero compunction about completely going back on any/all of their promises. I'll believe Bungie, when I see actual changes in the coding. And even then, as far as the TWaB is concerned, none of that list makes any difference in any way, as long as the loot pool remains so shallow and stuck with Static Rolls on weapons. If they aren't going to implement RNG Perk rolls into the game again, then most every item on that list is immediately moot and worthless.

Yeah I won't be purchasing any DLC until those fixes are made. If they're made. And when I do feel like buying, I'll wait until a Taken King style release happens and I'll buy it used.

Yup I remember as well. Bungie lies often. People will always take the bait tho
-
It's actually sad that this company can't be more honest with their player base. But I guess this is what gamers will get whith a company that has greedy higher ups.

You seem to have the same prob?
