I agree, for destiny specifically its really easy to get toxic fanboys mad. You could literally spend a whole paragraph praising the game for how good it looks but have a single sentence about a thing you don’t like in the game and you are sent immediately a death threat from someone who has no idea what they are talking about.

I don't really keep up with other communities but, I got curious to see if others are like this one and, every single forum I checked was exactly the same. It's just people hiding behind the internet to say things they're too afraid to say to anyone's face.

What forums did you check?

Assassins Creed, Gran Turismo and Wolfenstein.

Assassin's Creed is going through a huge lootbox controversy right now and Wolfenstein is going through a even bigger controversy as it's literally being attacked by trump supporters thinking the game has a political agenda against them because you kill [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] in a game and they advertised it on twitter as something like "make america [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] free again" and it launched with terrible bugs, crashes, and bad textures on PC. and the gran turismo compared to the past ones has no single player at all and apparently no car customization which is bizarre for a car game to not be able to upgrade a car. you picked the worst forums to check as the games are going though controversy, why dont you check actual good games that don't have a shit ton of controversy around them causing a reason for people to be mad such as- -cuphead -witcher 3 -crash bandicoot - a hat in time - hollow knight - nier automata - bayoneta and trust me don't touch the community of wolfenstein with a ten foot pool as its in political hell right now

The 3 I picked were really good examples of how the smallest things could cause a community to divide and turn on each other. Just like the Destiny community. None of the Loot Boxes or Political undertones should matter. I own all 3 of those games as well so I wouldn't check out a forum for a game I don't play, I'd have no place to comment or post on anything. Gran Turismo is the only game that legitimately deserves some of it's bashing. I've still put 25 hours into it and I'm nowhere near finished. It wasn't a rip off, it's just not a very good game.

https://youtu.be/YjAPPH0uKlI You need to actually look at what is trending on destiny forums and others as if you look at the actually top posts that have well thought out criticism (and their is a-lot of it for destiny 2) that while their are toxic people in the community they usually never get likes or support. The only posts that have made trending with “toxic” feedback according to destiny fanboys are posts that are paragraphs long and detail what is wrong and how to fix it, granted some if it is extremely harsh but but it took them a month to respond to anything we where telling them and this game has manny problems that where already fixed in destiny 1 so idk if it can be considered a “sequel” if it does not expand upon the first game.
