I agree - D2 was designed a certain way from the start, to attract as many players as possible, and to get them to spend. It seems the sales numbers are pretty good (haven't verified anything, don't care enough, but keep seeing something about "top selling game of 2017"). What really are their choices here? A. Add more static roll weapons that either have ridiculously low chances to drop, but everyone still collects within a month. or B. Reintroduce random rolls, and certain combos piss people off & the nerf cries pick back up. There is a lot of work to be done, and I wouldn't expect to see many of these changes any time soon, but that begs the question "when"... will it be too little, too late? Guess we'll see how it plays out. I can't say that I envy anyone who has the job of dealing with/fixing this game.

  • It’s just so easy tho. Quickplay = all weapons, abilities and grenades allowed. If someone cries nerf Bungie replies “balancing Quickplay is not, and never will be a priority.” Competitive = limited selection of standard weapons, abilities and grenades. Solved. Now bring on the overpowered shit to grind for, I wanna have as much fun in pve as I did in D1 Y1 dammit. If I’ve put in the hours and had the luck to get all the good shit, let me be overpowered, it’s why I level isn’t it?

  • I would definitely support this, it would be a hell of a lot more fun.
