"I had help from my friends. I thought they went a tad overboard, but he was an *sshole that cheated on his wife anyway." She shrugged.
-
"Then he deserved it."
-
"Agreed. Now, I think I'm gonna go to my ship, shower, change, and clean up overall. Maybe I'll see you later? 8:30 maybe? A nice dinner? Just us?" Star kept up the smirk, confidence evident in her eyes.
-
"Sure, why not. Are we going somewhere fancy or no?"
-
"Eh, up to you. I have no opinion." Star held back a squeal of delight.
-
"Alright. There's this nice little steakhouse I know nearby, wear something nice."
-
"Yes, ma'am. See ya, Nat." She gave a flirty wave before walking off.
-
Skip until the dinner?
-
Sure.
-
Natalie waited out front her apartment, wearing a slim, knee length black dress and matching heels.
-
There was a loud roar of an engine as a futuristic red porsche looking hover car stopped in front of Natalie. The window on the passenger side slowly rolled down to reveal Star in the driver seat, a red, knee-length cocktail dress on her now clean body. She sheepishly smiled at Nat. "Sorry! Believe it or not this is the least flashy thing I own...."
-
"What the fûck..." Nat responded, not expecting this much money from someone who had just gotten beaten over the head by beer bottles the other night. Dumbfounded and grinning, she got into the car.
-
"Did I mention being a famous athlete comes with a lot of money?" More nervous laughter escaped her lips. The interior had comfy leather seats and a black and red color theme.
-
"I can see," Nat said, an astonished tone hanging onto the edges of her lips. She gave Star a quick hug and closed her door, before pulling her phone out from her cleavage (as all classy women do /s) and using Tatakai's equivalent of Google Maps to locate the steakhouse.
-
Star smiled from the hug and blushed a little. She started up the car and got moving. "Heh...yeah...."
-
"So, do you live very far from here? Because you got here fairly quickly."
-
"Well, I sort of live out of a ship at the moment." Star shrugged. "Kinda moves around. I tend to make sure it stays in stealth mode away from the Dojo so it doesn't get shot when things go to hell here."
-
"A ship. Right. Totally normal." Nat was raised in Las Vegas, early 2000's - The concept of living in a ship was still new to her. Not entirely foreign after her time here, but still new.
-
"Not used to the futuristic scene? I should take you to my home city...or what was my home city. We could have so much fun with the money I have."
-
"I'm down when you are, honestly. I don't mind getting away from this place for a while."
-
Edited by Stitch: 10/28/2017 11:32:34 PM"Just have to do a few things, pull a few strings, and we can go. It's slightly more peaceful than here." They pulled up to the steakhouse.
-
Natalie exited the car and led Star in. Once they were sitting,Nat ordered her own meal and allowed Star to do the same.
-
Star ordered the same as Natalie, not knowing what to order and focusing more on the woman in front of her. "So, do you get all dressed up often and go to places like this?"
-
"Not usually, I much prefer to just hang around the house or go grab some takeout most days. How about you?"
-
"I may have a few stacks of old chinese take-out bags piling up in my room..." Star giggled. "I'm getting so out of shape."
