"Pow! Pew! Blam, f*cker!"
In the middle of the VR room a blindingly fast figure spun and danced around, firing off two guns of some kind that moved around too fast to pinpoint. The figure was a mixture of colors that made it even more confusing to stare at, the voice was female however and had a tone of aggression.
Extremely small targets popped up all over the place at far and close ranges, but they quickly got shot and fell faster than the human eye could see. The act was surely superhuman, the figure a blur, the accuracy perfect, and the awareness of targets at impossible levels.
"Blow! Bam! Blam!"

Now, Natalie wasn't a combatant in the usual sense of the word. Her spells were primarily low level fire spells with sophisticated gravity abilities complimenting them on the front lines. But these abilities still required practice to maintain, and with her Catalyst in hand, Natalie entered the VR room. She tapped the staff on the ground twice as she watched the figure flying about the room curiously from the sidelines.

A blue bolt from the figure shot out, hitting Natalie between the eyes, but she oddly didn't even feel a thing. "Oh thank god I'm using my training guns. You scared me for a second, Nat." The 5'4" Star stopped moving and now stood still, panting for breath. She had on a skin tight suit that clung to her slim, athletic body with only a little bit of polymer armor on top scattered around. She left very little to the imagination with the colorful suit, covered in various logos. The way she placed her hands on her hips didn't help the overly sexual appearance.
>Budget Tracer with the T.racer skin, huh? Jk
"Oh, that was you running? For a second I thought someone glitched out and started running at the speed of light again," Nat sarcasticslly said, a grin on her face. She felt her forehead and wiped away the blue, still not feeling it as it fell off her hand. "Whats up?"
-
"I wish I could run that fast. I was just standing in place. Uhh....Y'know, making sure I don't get too rusty." Star nervously laughed, a little uncomfortable.
-
"Riiight, you totally want to go that fast so you can be in two places at once. I can tell."
-
"Technically I already can do that, Naty." Star giggled and winked as she walked out of the middle. "Maybe one of these days I'll show off what I'm capable of."

Edited by JayTea: 10/31/2017 8:31:51 PM"Maybe I'll have to give you a show too - Magic can be more than just good looks and fireballs," Nat responded with a jokingly prideful tone as she followed Star from the centre.
-
"Yeah, but I prefer ranged weapons. They're more reliable than magic. Too many anti-magic things going around nowadays, y'know?" Star playfully shot back.
-
"Yeah, sadly. What kind of weapons do you mainly use, pistols?"
-
"I'm the best with my sniper named Bertha, but I always carry pistols and not her because of the weight. Kinda annoying to have her with me at all times. My skill with everything else is about equal...y'know, better than what should be possible."
-
"Above average, yeah? Alright hotshot, care to show me something?"
-
"Above average?! I'm a lot better than just above average....If you wanna see more than what I was just doing I guess I could humor you." Star thought for a second before nodding. "How many guys do you think I can take out with a single bullet in one of these guns?"
-
"I dunno, three?"
-
Star rolled her eyes. "You think so little of me...." The room formed a simulation of three men lined up and with one trigger pull from Star they all fell to the floor with their heads blow off.
-
"Huh. Looks like you're hot and deadly, what's your record on that?"
-
Star shrugged. "In a competitive scene? A whole team of a dozen players. In a fight? I shot through the kneecaps of like, 15 guys? In training, I've got in the hundreds. My rounds don't lose velocity after passing through a target if I want them to."
-
"How the hell does that work?"
-
Star pointed to her eyes. "Not exactly human. But don't think I need abilities like that to shoot well. Even without the eyes I can still fire through a dozen or so. I mean, .600 rounds do wonders."
-
"Wait just a second - What? You aren't human?"
-
Star nervously smiled and laughed. "Hehe...Surprise?"
-
"...Alright, that's a little... Different, but I can get over it. If I sound upset, I'm not - I'm just adjusting, is all."
For the record, Nat's only half human lol. She just doesn't know.
-
Star sighed in relief. "Oh thank you for there not being as much racism here....Back home I've had some people not react so kindly. For the leagues I always lied and said I was human with a genetic problem that gave me weird eye colors."
-
"Heterochromia? I would've just said contacts," Nat said with a laugh.
-
"Some people would say things about "I'm on to you!" and I always worried it was the nonhuman thing, but it was always them thinking I wore contacts just to come off more sexy or whatever." Star chuckled. "Apparently the eyes are attractive or something to some humans."
-
"Trust me - They are."
