Another day, another drink. That was the mantra JT found himself living by, with each weekend he found himself in the bar. The same bar he went to when nothing new was going on in his life.
Aveline and Benny were heading the search for the killer and Derek had been attending an Extryte corporate meeting, leaving JT all alone for the time being. The Marshal hanged his hat on the rack in the bar and his pistols on the table in front of him, to either side of a brown bottle of Crown Royal on the table. The bar was as dead as his current activity, and so he waited for someone interesting to hopefully walk through that front door.
((Open. This is a boredom post.))

Garin breathed a sigh of relief as he came in from the pouring rain outside, his golden blonde hair plastered to his forehead. Shivering slightly, he hung his shotgun next to JT's hat. He strode to the bar and ordered a Guinness.
-
JT gave Garin a look but quickly dismissed him. He had seen the fella a few times in his day, but only ever briefly.
-
After a few minutes, Garin had finished his drink and was about to leave when he noticed JT. "Hey, you're JT, that famous gunslinger guy, right?"
-
"Depends who's askin'. And I wouldn't say famous, ain't that many people care enough about gunslingin' to know who's who."
-
The doors opened to the young, barely legal looking, brown haired girl known as Star. She had on a black tanktop and cargo shorts as she walked up to the bar and sat nearby JT. "A good ol'pint of the usual, eh?!" She asked the bartender with a smile.
-
JT glanced over at Star with feigned interest, though it sparked up a little bit upon noticing she barely looked legal. He wasn't looking at her out of desire, but rather curiosity and intrigue for why she was in a bar. "Kiddo, what brings you to a place like this one 'ere?"
-
"I have a slight drinking problem. Decades of partying and stress does that too ya." Star winked at the man as she got her glass and quickly finished half of it.
-
"How old're you? Y'look 19, kid."
-
"Eh. Small chest and size does that..." She sighed. "I'm like, 25? I think in your years. I'm not the best at math."
-
"My years?" JT asked, shooting her an inquisitive glare.
-
"Yeah. The years they use here." She looked over at him and noticed the look. "It's complicated. I'm legal though, I swear."
-
"Right, well, I ain't a native to this place. Wouldn't be flirtin' with people in a bar like this if I was."
-
"Makes sense." Star finished her drink in another gulp and got it refilled as fast as she could. "Whatcha doin' 'ere?" She said, trying to copy his way of speaking.
-
"Drinking, flirting, fûcking, fleeing," JT jokingly responded. "You?"
-
Star's eyes flashed pink for a split second as she jokingly replied back. "Same, but without the fleeing."
-
Oh hell no this chick is gonna be single real damn soon.
"Got a name?"
-
"Sophia is my real name, but most I just have call me Star. It's my name when in competitions and I've grown to like it more." Star yawned and drank yet another pint faster than humanly possible.
-
"Pleased to meet ya, Star."
-
"Pleased to meet ya...who're you again?"
-
"JT is what most call me."
-
"Hmm. I knew a guy called Green Tea...f*cking weirdo. The whole team was named after teas. You hear strange *ss names in sports."
-
"What do ya play?"
-
"I've played a lot of different ones. Some seem to not exist here which sucks. My favorite had the dumbest name, Death Gun. Sounds stupid, but fun as hell. Kinda like a battle royal thingy where everyone starts out with a shitty gun and different mods for it are placed all over the map."
-
"Sounds like fun, I'll have to give it a try soon."
